¡Hola amigos! Siempre aprovecho el fin de semana para ponerme a ver alguna película que tenga entre mis pendientes, pero este finde fue muy social y cansador por lo que no me dio tiempo de ver ninguna. Aunque, por casualidad, había encontrado esta miniserie de animación japonesa en YouTube sobre la obra de Makoto Shinkai llamada ***Ella y su gato*** (pero al parecer es una versión más reciente del año 2016) y decidí verla ya que era corta, además de que me gustan mucho sus producciones. Acá les traigo mi opinión.

En esta miniserie de animación japonesa nos encontramos con 4 capítulos cortos que narran la vida de Miyu y su gato Daru. Estos están divididos en diferentes etapas de sus vidas que nos cuentan desde cómo se conocieron, hasta todo lo que tuvieron que atravesar juntos, siendo Miyu una chica que está pasando por un periodo de depresión y encuentra en Daru la fuerza para levantarse todos los días e intentar recomponer su vida.
>This Japanese animated miniseries consists of four short episodes that narrate the life of Miyu and her cat Daru. They are divided into different stages of their lives, telling us everything from how they met to everything they had to go through together. Miyu is a girl who is going through a period of depression and finds in Daru the strength to get up every day and try to rebuild her life.

No hay mucho que pueda decir de esta obra sin contar demasiado, pero sepan que es una serie muy linda y emotiva que nos narra este vínculo de una chica con su gato desde el punto de vista del animalito y esto es algo que siempre me gustó, meterse en la cabeza de un animal y ver el mundo a través de sus ojos. Daru no entiende mucho de la vida, él solo sabe que Miyu está triste e intenta estar ahí para ella y para reconfortarla. Él la acompaña desde que era una niña, por lo que ya es un gato que está atravesando por su vejez, pero su vínculo es muy especial.
>There isn't much I can say about this work without giving too much away, but know that it's a very cute and emotional series that tells the story of a girl's bond with her cat from the animal's point of view, which is something I've always liked: getting inside an animal's head and seeing the world through its eyes. Daru doesn't understand much about life, he just knows that Miyu is sad and tries to be there for her and comfort her. He has been with her since she was a child, so he is now an elderly cat, but their bond is very special.
Siento que es una producción corta que supo ir directo al corazón y es que cualquiera que haya generado un vínculo con un animalito sabe lo hermoso que es y lo mucho que te puede cambiar la vida. Estamos hablando de ese amor incondicional que solo ellos saben dar y la verdad es que en un momento me sentí muy conmovida, pero no de tristeza, sino que me dejó muy lindos sentimientos ver esta miniserie. Te hace apreciar más todo el tiempo compartido con ellos, pero a veces es necesario un golpe de realidad para hacer ese clip en nuestras vidas que nos ayude a continuar.

Me gustó como se refleja un poco de la depresión en esta producción. Miyu es un claro ejemplo de cuando la vida parece estancarse y no sabes muy bien qué hacer con eso. Andas como perdida hasta que vuelves a encontrar el rumbo. Es hermoso tener a alguien en quien apoyarse cuando viene algún episodio de estos, y sí, en esta ocasión fue un gato.
>I liked how this production reflects a little bit of depression. Miyu is a clear example of when life seems to stagnate and you don't really know what to do about it. You feel lost until you find your way again. It's wonderful to have someone to lean on when episodes like this happen, and yes, on this occasion it was a cat.
Por otro lado, me conmovió mucho el final. Creo en la reencarnación y es genial pensar en que nos puedan volver a elegir en su próxima vida. A veces tengo esos sentimientos por mis mascotas, como si alguno fuera un alma que ya estuvo conmigo antes y partió hace un tiempo. A veces me parece que vuelven y si tenemos suerte lo harán con nosotros de nuevo. En fin, es una animación que recomiendo, sobre todo si te gustan los gatos.
>On the other hand, I was very moved by the ending. I believe in reincarnation, and it's great to think that they might choose us again in their next life. Sometimes I have those feelings about my pets, as if one of them were a soul that had been with me before and left some time ago. Sometimes I feel like they come back, and if we're lucky, they'll do it with us again. Anyway, it's an animation that I recommend, especially if you like cats.
