Today is an important day. It's the last day of August and we get the monthly candle close not only on $HIVE but all the assets on all markets. A very important candle, that indicates where the market potentially intends to go.
On the monthly time frame, price is still inside the bullish gap. There are 14 hours till the candle close, so there's no way to know for sure now, but at the time of writing, we have a bearish engulfing candle. If the candle closes below $0.2041, the bearish engulfing candle is confirmed. Levels to watch are the same as I mentioned in my previous posts.
On the weekly time frame, price is below mid-range at the time of writing and looks heavy. At this point I'm looking at $0.1757 to be swept, if there's more weakness. Should we get a bounce at some point, the next liquidity pool to be swept to the upside is at $0.2327 level. Should price sweep that level would mean getting back above mid-range and then we can target range high at $0.2821, after which obviously there is $0.3006, a well known target of us by now.
This is how the daily chart looks, but I'm going to post a simplified one below, to not confuse you much.
Since last week, price made a lower low, a lower high and it is below mid-range in the current dealing range. Levels to watch on the downside are $0.1975, $0.1948 (which is Monday low and has never been swept) and $0.193, if the previously mentioned level won't give us a bounce. In case of bullish continuation, I'm looking at $0.2109 to be swept, after which $0.2188 and $0.2327.
On a more granular scale, price on the h4 chart looks really heavy. Price swept liquidity from $0.2046, made a higher high at $0.2056 and sold off. Now price is delivering from a bearish OB and it is below mid-range too, just touched the 0.75 level. This is a good level to bounce off of, but if we don't get it, then $0.1975 could be next.
If you look at the heatmap, you can see price is between two levels, maybe closer to the lower level, which is around $0.197 - $0.196. Next week the market most likely is going to show its hand. Till then stay safe.
$BTC is at a crucial level. Retested the bullish gap but it is below the upper range. Sweep $107,369 and bounce, this would be a nice scenario.
If we get a bounce here, there's a chance for price to get back into the range and confirm deviation. If the bounce will not happen, then $105,058 could be next.
The 24 hour liquidity heatmap pretty much shows the same.
ETH/BTC - I made this forecast on the 24th of August and so far price is following my prediction. 0.042422 has been swept, he bullish gap is retested and holding. Let's see if we get a nice bullish continuation next week. So far so good.
Next week we're going to have four red folder days. Thursday is going to be with fireworks as we have 3 data announcements in 3 different times, so the New York am session is going to be tricky.
