Hello everyone! This is @ernesto6402, and I am happy to be a part of this week's Open Mic. For this week, and with regard to this week's theme, I will be doing the song "My Lord and my God".

The song that I will be performing today is composed by Sir Jude Nnam, and it is a song with an amazing message. Nevertheless, I will be tampering with the original message of the song a bit, but not entirely. The original song do not just speak of offering ourselves to God, but also of the gift of consecration that is being offered to God. That notwithstanding, I will for the purpose of this performance be sidelining the gift offering part of the song.
>La canción que voy a interpretar hoy está compuesta por Sir Jude Nnam, y es una canción con un mensaje asombroso. No obstante, alteraré un poco el mensaje original de la canción, pero no del todo. La canción original no sólo habla de ofrecernos a Dios, sino también del don de la consagración que se ofrece a Dios. A pesar de ello, en esta representación dejaré de lado la parte de la canción dedicada a la ofrenda.
It is normal for us to have difficult times, which I also choose to refer to as dark times; but God is capable of taking care of every of our problems. All we have to do is to completely submit ourselves to him, he is indeed our Lord and God, but we must first submit to his care. As I perform today, I urge everyone who come across this post to completely surrender themselves to the almighty God. Being the God of light, he is capable of bringing us out of any form of darkness that we might find ourselves.

Originally, the song I will be performing today is a choral Afro song; but as usual, I will be doing it my way. As much as possible then, I will be coming up with a unique version of the song. For those who do not know what the original version sound like, I will be dropping a a video of it under. In all, I hope you enjoy my performance.
