Hace tiempo, específicamente el domingo 17 de agosto, día del niño acá en Argentina, hicimos un plan muy divertido para el bebé de la casa, o sea, mi hijo Thiago y me había olvidado de compartirlo por acá.

Some time ago, specifically on Sunday, August 17, Children's Day here in Argentina, we made a very fun plan for the baby of the house, that is, my son Thiago, and I had forgotten to share it here.
Este día se celebra el tercer domingo del mes de agosto, a diferencia de mi país, Venezuela, que allá se celebra el tercer domingo de julio, es un poco confuso porque siempre suelo ver como celebran primero allá y luego me preguntan cuando celebramos acá, mis conocidos jaja.
Normalmente es un poco caótico y creo que es así en todos lados, porque cae domingo y por supuesto la gran mayoría de padres están libres y quieren llevar a sus bebés a algún plan y todos nos encontramos.
Los sitios están siempre llenos, hay muchas filas para comprar las cosas, como comidas, helados, postres o atracciones.
This day is celebrated on the third Sunday of August, unlike in my country, Venezuela, where it is celebrated on the third Sunday of July. It's a little confusing because I always see how they celebrate it there first, and then my friends ask me when we celebrate it here, haha.
It's usually a bit chaotic, and I think it's like that everywhere because it falls on a Sunday, and of course, most parents are off work and want to take their babies out to do something, so we all end up running into each other.
Places are always crowded, and there are long lines to buy things like food, ice cream, desserts, or rides.
Nosotros ya sabíamos esto así que nos preparamos mentalmente y, aunque las cosas no salieron del todo como queríamos, terminamos pasando un rato muy agradable en un lugar llamado Art Point ubicado en el shopping DOT, del que les he hablado un poco por acá.
Solemos recurrir a este lugar porque es muy bonito y nos agrada, además que no es muy lejos de donde vivimos acá en Palermo, Buenos Aires.
Después de darnos una vuelta por el shopping buscando qué comer o hacer, nos encontramos con este llamativo lugar, que se trata de un espacio donde por 1h puedes pintar tu cuadro fluorescente o neón y llevarlo a casa.
We already knew this, so we prepared ourselves mentally, and although things didn't turn out exactly as we wanted, we ended up having a very nice time at a place called Art Point located in the DOT shopping mall, which I've mentioned a little bit here.
We often go there because it's very nice and we like it, plus it's not far from where we live here in Palermo, Buenos Aires.
After walking around the mall looking for something to eat or do, we came across this eye-catching place, which is a space where you can paint your own fluorescent or neon picture for an hour and take it home with you.
Thiago estaba encantado con el lugar, así que entramos y se puso manos a la obra, no tienes que ser un experto pintando, solo dejar fluir tu creatividad y de verdad que se ven geniales los cuadros cuando se apaga la luz.
Si te sobra tiempo y terminaste tu cuadro, también puedes pintar las paredes, fue toda una experiencia y a Thiago le encantó.
Hizo su cuadro y lo expuso orgulloso, mi bebé es todo un artista.
A pesar de todo la pasó muy bien en su día y eso es lo que importa.

Thiago was delighted with the place, so we went in and he got to work. You don't have to be an expert painter, just let your creativity flow, and the paintings really look great when the lights go out.
If you have time to spare and have finished your painting, you can also paint the walls. It was quite an experience, and Thiago loved it.
He made his painting and proudly displayed it. My baby is quite the artist.
Despite everything, he had a great day, and that's what matters.
