¡Hola Chicos!
Desde el mes pasado hemos estado viviendo momentos hermosos en familia, y todo esto a raíz de nuestro nuevo local. Este año inicié mi centro artístico, en el mes de febrero y estuvimos funcionando en ese local hasta finales de agosto. Era un espacio compartido, y como les comenté en un post anterior, desde julio busqué un local que fuera completamente propio. Este tenía bastantes años abandonado e iniciamos con las reparaciones a mediados del mes pasado, para poder comenzar este mes. Esto hizo que tuviéramos que ir repetidas veces en familia. Al salir de las ocupaciones pendientes, solíamos irnos a la orilla del lago de Maracaibo que queda a escasos metros del centro comercial a disfrutar, caminar un poco y recorrer el boulevard. En casi todas nuestras salidas tomé foto y capturé momentos para el recuerdo y el día de hoy les compartiré alguna de estos momentos que disfrutamos en familia. La primera vez que fuimos juntos y luego la primera salida con mis hermanos, que fue el día que conocieron a mi esposo.Hello, everyone!
Since last month, we have been enjoying wonderful moments as a family, all thanks to our new premises. This year, I started my art center in February, and we operated from those premises until the end of August. It was a shared space, and as I mentioned in a previous post, in July I started looking for premises that would be entirely our own. This one had been abandoned for quite a few years, and we started repairs in the middle of last month so we could start this month. This meant that we had to go there repeatedly as a family. After finishing our pending tasks, we used to go to the shore of Lake Maracaibo, which is a few meters from the shopping center, to enjoy ourselves, walk a little, and stroll along the boulevard. On almost all of our outings, I took photos and captured moments to remember, and today I will share some of these moments that we enjoyed as a family. The first time we went together and then the first outing with my brothers, which was the day they met my husband.
Ese primer día yo pude llevar conmigo mi teléfono nuevo y tomé unas fotos bien chéveres. Mi esposo le estaba contando historias a mi hijo y explicando un poco de como eran las cosas antes de que el lago estuviera tan contaminado.
That first day, I was able to bring my new phone with me and took some really cool photos. My husband was telling my son stories and explaining a little bit about how things were before the lake became so polluted.
Aprovechamos de tomar algunas fotos familiares en lo que esperábamos al señor que nos iba a traer a casa. De verdad fue un momento bien lindo, a pesar de que estuvimos solo unos minutos.
We took advantage of the time while waiting for the gentleman who was going to take us home to take some family photos. It was truly a beautiful moment, even though we were only there for a few minutes.
Y para la segunda visita que hicimos tuvimos la compañía de mis 3 hermanitos y su mamá. Ellos fueron de visita al local mientras nosotros estábamos pintando y conocieron a mi esposo. Esa fue la segunda vez que los vi desde que llegaron al país.
Estuvieron disfrutando un montón corriendo por la orilla y arrojando piedras al lago.
And for our second visit, we were joined by my three little brothers and their mom. They came to visit the place while we were painting and met my husband. That was the second time I had seen them since they arrived in the country.
They had a great time running along the shore and throwing stones into the lake.
La primera vez que los vi no pude compartir tanto con ellos pues ese día estuve conversando con su mamá quien se notaba que tenía una gran necesidad de contar lo que han vivido los últimos años. Esta vez tampoco pudimos hablar tanto aunque si estuve más presente porque lo vi jugar en compañía de mi hijo.
Aproveché de tomarles fotos mientras estábamos en una zona que es de las que está mejor cuidada.
The first time I saw them, I couldn't spend much time with them because I was talking to their mother, who clearly felt a great need to talk about what they had been through in recent years. This time, we didn't get to talk much either, although I was more present because I saw him playing with my son.
I took the opportunity to take some photos of them while we were in one of the better-maintained areas.
Se notaba que ellos disfrutaron mucho el recorrido, pues donde ellos vivía no tenían la oportunidad de salir tan seguido y este es un clima muy diferente al que tenían en Quito, donde vivían anteriormente.
Mi esposo estuvo compartiendo mucho con ellos y a los niños les cayó súper bien. Esto me hizo súper feliz. Es genial poder tener estos momentos en familia tan bonitos. ♥
En un próximo post les seguiré compartiendo nuestros paseos a la orilla del lago de Maracaibo.
It was clear that they really enjoyed the trip, because where they lived they didn't have the opportunity to go out so often, and the climate here is very different from what they had in Quito, where they used to live.
My husband spent a lot of time with them, and the children really liked him. This made me very happy. It's great to be able to have such beautiful family moments. ♥
