Hoy les seguiré contando como fue esa aventura que vivimos la semana que hicimos nuestro primer plan vacacional. La rutina estaba súper fuerte, yo me estaba exigiendo mucho porque quería que todo fuera perfecto y que los niños quedaran bien satisfechos con lo vivido. Tenía 3 chicos inscritos para toda la semana y 3 de ellos fueron cancelando a diario, lo que me tenía algo tensa porque no era algo seguro y debía esforzarme para que quisieran volver al siguiente día. Esos días tuve varias crisis en las que lloraba por lo agotada que me sentía tanto física como mentalmente, pero en todo momento tenía a mi hijo y a mi esposo brindándome su apoyo y ayudándome a levantar los ánimos. Habíamos llegado al tercer día y nuevamente nos tocaba despertar súper temprano porque me tocaba dar clases en la mañana a mis alumnos regulares. Ese día si no me dio tiempo de preparar nada para la comida del medio día, por lo que no me compliqué y le dije a mi hijo que comeríamos en un restaurante que queda cerca y donde hemos comido anteriormente.Hello, everyone!
Today, I will continue telling you about the adventure we had the week we made our first vacation plan. The routine was very intense, and I was pushing myself hard because I wanted everything to be perfect and for the children to be satisfied with the experience. I had three kids signed up for the whole week, and three of them canceled every day, which made me a little tense because it wasn't a sure thing, and I had to work hard to make them want to come back the next day. During those days, I had several breakdowns where I cried because I felt so exhausted, both physically and mentally, but my son and husband were always there to support me and help me cheer up. We had reached the third day, and once again we had to wake up very early because I had to teach my regular students in the morning. That day, I didn't have time to prepare anything for lunch, so I didn't complicate things and told my son that we would eat at a nearby restaurant where we had eaten before.
Ya sabíamos que íbamos a pedir pues anteriormente habíamos comido un combo de pollo frito y habíamos quedado con ganas de más. Es por eso que pedimos lo mismo y esta vez quisimos comerlo ahí mismo.
Traía 4 piezas de pollo frito, con papas, arepa y una ensalada dulce de repollo con zanahoria. Disfrutamos un montón esa comida.
We already knew what we were going to order because we had previously eaten a fried chicken combo and were left wanting more. That's why we ordered the same thing, and this time we wanted to eat it right there.
It came with four pieces of fried chicken, potatoes, arepa, and a sweet cabbage and carrot salad. We really enjoyed that meal.
Una vez comimos y recargamos energía, nos fuimos hasta el local para esperar a los chicos que llegaron a los pocos minutos.
Para este día haríamos autorretratos con estilo surrealista inspirados en Frida y Dalí. Los chicos se tomaron una foto y luego hicieron un boceto en una hoja. Cuando se sintieron seguros lo pasaron a los lienzos y comenzaron a pintar.
Once we had eaten and recharged our batteries, we went to the venue to wait for the kids, who arrived a few minutes later.

Ese día asistieron todos los chicos menos el niño que había faltado el primer día y que solo había asistido el día anterior, esta situación la verdad me volvió a extrañar y pregunté a su mamá quien me informó que se les estaba complicando el tema del transporte.
Mientras los niños seguían trabajando pacientemente en sus obras y ya para este día la conversación hacía parte de nuestros encuentros. Ellos habían agarrado un poco más de confianza e interactuaban entre ellos.
That day, all the children attended except for the boy who had been absent on the first day and had only attended the previous day. This situation really surprised me again, and I asked his mother, who informed me that transportation was becoming complicated for them.
While the children continued to work patiently on their projects, conversation had become part of our meetings. They had gained a little more confidence and were interacting with each other.

Y así terminamos el día con éxito. Los chicos se tomaron su tiempo para lograr un resultado increíble y se fueron contentos a casa.

I helped him with the cutting, as he still didn't know how to do it very well.
And so we ended the day successfully. The kids took their time to achieve an incredible result and went home happy.
Luego acomodamos todo y volvimos a casa. Mi hijo estaba tan agotado que se quedó dormido en el camino. Como les dije la rutina fue súper exigente esos días y solíamos llegar a casa a las 7. pasando así 10 horas en la calle.
Ya habíamos concluido el tercer día y restaba poco tiempo para que pudiéramos completar el objetivo final. En un próximo post les seguiré contando nuestra aventura. ♥
Then we packed everything up and headed home. My son was so exhausted that he fell asleep on the way. As I mentioned, the routine was very demanding during those days, and we usually got home at 7 p.m., spending 10 hours on the road.
We had already completed the third day, and there was little time left to achieve our final goal. In my next post, I will continue telling you about our adventure. ♥
