¡Hola Chicos!
Como les he comentado desde el post anterior, durante el mes de Julio creé una estrategia para reunir dinero que me permitiera dar el paso de movernos a un nuevo espacio. Es ahí cuando nacen los talleres en honor al mes de los niños. Yo la verdad no solía usar las fechas comerciales a mi favor, siempre se me ocurrían cositas pero soy cero de seguir tendencias. En este caso me convenía hacerlo porque sabía que muchas personas estarían buscando actividades para sus hijos y pues yo ofrezco un servicio. Por más que quiera mantenerme al margen de las modas, que va en contra de mis pensamientos personales, tengo que seguirlas para poder obtener beneficios para mi negocio. Para la tercera semana tenía planteado hacer una taller de textura, para el cual hice algunas pruebas. Hace como una semana les compartí un cuadrito con una gran flor blanca que fue la muestra que hice para poder promocionarlo. Para este taller se sumaron tres niños. En esa ocasión en lugar de tomar un día para hacerlo decidí integrarlos a la clase que tenía al día siguiente. Para mi resultó ser más cómodo y me permitió tomar el día anterior de descanso para organizarme mejor con otros asuntos.Hello, everyone!
As I mentioned in my previous post, during the month of July, I created a strategy to raise money that would allow me to take the step of moving to a new space. That's when the workshops in honor of Children's Month were born. I didn't really use commercial dates to my advantage; I always came up with little things, but I'm terrible at following trends. In this case, it was in my best interest to do so because I knew that many people would be looking for activities for their children, and I offer a service. As much as I want to stay out of fads, which goes against my personal beliefs, I have to follow them in order to benefit my business. By the third week, I had planned to do a texture workshop, for which I did some tests. About a week ago, I shared a picture with a large white flower that was the sample I made to promote it. Three children signed up for this workshop. On that occasion, instead of taking a day to do it, I decided to integrate them into the class I had the next day. It turned out to be more convenient for me and allowed me to take the previous day off to better organize myself with other matters.
Los chicos llegaron y los acomodé a un ladito de la mesa para que no entorpeciera el orden con la clase que teníamos al otro lado.
El color celeste fue muy popular porque todos quisieron colocar un fondo celeste, a pesar de que habían muchos colores para elegir.
Entre los diseños había un gatito, un zorro y un girasol. Este último formaba parte de un regalo que quería hacer el niño a su mamá por su cumpleaños, cosa que me pareció súper tierno de su parte. ♥
The children arrived and I seated them at one end of the table so they wouldn't disturb the class we were having on the other side.
The color blue was very popular because everyone wanted to use a blue background, even though there were many colors to choose from.
Among the designs were a kitten, a fox, and a sunflower. The latter was part of a gift that the boy wanted to give his mom for her birthday, which I thought was super sweet of him. ♥
Luego de un par de horitas los pequeños lograron terminar, con un poco de ayuda ya que se demoraron un poco más de lo esperado.
Por suerte estaba yo y otras alumnas que sirvieron de apoyo para que todos pudieran irse a casa con un trabajo terminado.
After a couple of hours, the children managed to finish, with a little help, as it took them a little longer than expected.
Luckily, I was there, along with other students, to help them so that everyone could go home with a finished project.
A la semana siguiente tocaba el taller final y para este no pude dar mucha promoción porque estaba bastante atareada con otros talleres que estaba dando fuera del centro artístico, de los cuales pronto les hablaré. También estaba con todo ese revuelo del cambio de espacio.
Los últimos días de julio fueron súper fuertes para mi, pero todo ese esfuerzo definitivamente a la larga iba a valer la pena.
A pesar de no estar trabajando con mi blog, tenía lo suficiente para que estuviéramos bien en casa y al mismo tiempo poder reunir para cumplir la meta.
Por suerte una de mis alumnas al ver la actividad con los chicos la semana anterior, quiso participar en el taller y también se sumó otra niña gracias a unas historias que había hecho en Instagram del taller anterior.
Ambas quisieron trabajar con textura, así que tuvimos el segundo talleres seguido de textura.
The following week was the final workshop, and I couldn't promote it much because I was quite busy with other workshops I was giving outside the art center, which I'll tell you about soon. I was also caught up in all the commotion of the change of space.
The last days of July were very intense for me, but all that effort was definitely going to be worth it in the long run.
Despite not working on my blog, I had enough to keep us comfortable at home and at the same time be able to get together to meet the goal.
Luckily, one of my students, seeing the activity with the kids the week before, wanted to participate in the workshop, and another girl joined thanks to some stories I had posted on Instagram from the previous workshop.
Both wanted to work with texture, so we had a second workshop on texture.
Una escogió hacer un gatito y la otra un capibara, que están súper de moda entre los chicos de ahora.
Así finalizamos ese día con nuestro taller de textura, las niñas se fueron con sus hermosas obras a casa y yo quedé súper contenta por haber finalizado el mes con 4 talleres exitosos. ♥

One chose to make a kitten and the other a capybara, which are very popular among kids these days.
That's how we ended our texture workshop that day. The girls went home with their beautiful creations, and I was very happy to have finished the month with four successful workshops. ♥
