However, I always try to toast with a beer on special occasions, and the truth is that it has always worked out well for me.  On this occasion, the celebration was more than justified because Isabel, an excellent woman and friend, was turning 66. I must tell you that my husband and I were in charge of preparing her birthday party, and honestly, it wasn't too difficult for us because we're used to it. Also, Isabel told you that, due to a personal problem, there would only be 6 or 7 people there, so the preparations didn't require much effort.   Among the things we planned were her birthday cake, with her name and the birthday girl's name on it, food to cook, snacks, and drinks, something that can't be missing at a party in this country. With such a hot climate, beer is the main ally of our festivities, and this case was no exception. Además, Isabel os dijo que, debido a un problema personal, solo estaríamos 6 o 7 personas, por lo que la preparación no exigía de mucho esfuerzo.   Entre las cosas que previmos estuvieron su tarta de cumpleaños, con su nombre y la edad que cumplía, los alimentos para cocinar, algo para picar y la bebida, algo que en una fiesta de este país no puede faltar. Al tener un clima tan caliente, la cerveza es la aliada principal de nuestras festividades y, en este caso, no fue la excepción.  Al no ser una gran consumidora, prefiero las cervezas claras porque son menos fuertes y la mejor para mí es la cerveza cristal que tiene 4.5 grados solamente y tiene un sabor especial que la hace ser “La preferida de Cuba”, como está en su eslogan.
