[ESP/ENG] Paseando por las casas del Habano y del Ron de Varadero, Cuba

Cuba is no exception, and, in truth, there are several things that set us apart. For example, we have a warm climate that accompanies us for most of the year, we are a country where music runs through our veins, and sports are a national passion.  We are distinguished by our beautiful beaches, and among them all, Varadero is the leader, being one of the most renowned sun and beach resorts in the world. That's why, whenever our budget allows, we take a trip to this tourist destination, and we truly have a wonderful time. However, on this recent trip, we arrived too early and had to wait until 2 PM to check into the hotel.      While we waited, we strolled through the beautiful streets of the town and saw several places that caught our eye. Among them were the Casa del Habano (House of Cigars) and the Casa del Ron (House of Rum). These are two leading products of the Cuban economy and are among the best produced worldwide. In the case of tobacco, we are distinguished by varieties that are among the best in the world and are highly sought after by international tourists and producers worldwide. At the Casa del Habano, I was able to appreciate the quality of the Cuban cigars produced. In the exhibition and sales area, I saw exclusive brands such as Trinidad, Habano, Romeo y Julieta, Partagás, and Hoyo de Monterrey. I also learned about the main tobacco-growing regions, where our production is sold, and our main trading partners. Another thing that caught my attention was the number of people there to buy cigars. Within the same building, there is a space dedicated to promoting and selling Cuban rums, primarily from the Havana Club brand.    Something I had never seen before, and it was... What I liked most about the place were the barrels where the rums are aged, which give Cuban rum its special flavor. It was a very pleasant outing, and I was grateful to have arrived in Varadero so early to enjoy these two gems of Cuba's most important tourist destination. Note: I used DeepL Translate. Cuba no es la excepción y, la verdad, hay varias cosas que nos distinguen. Por ejemplo, tenemos un clima cálido que nos acompaña durante gran parte del año, somos un país donde la música nos corre por las venas y el deporte es pasión nacional.  Nos distinguen las hermosas playas y, dentro de todas, Varadero es la líder por ser un complejo de sol y playa de los más reconocidos a nivel mundial. Es por ello que siempre que el capital nos alcanza, nos damos una vuelta por ese destino turístico y la verdad es que la pasamos de maravilla. Sin embargo, en este viaje que recién hicimos llegamos demasiado temprano y tuvimos que esperar a las 2 de la tarde para entrar al hotel.     Mientras esperábamos, nos dimos unas vueltas por las hermosas calles del lugar y vimos varios lugares que nos llamaron la atención. Dentro de estos están la Casa del Habano y la Casa del Ron. Estos son dos productos líderes de la economía cubana y son dos de los mejores que se producen a nivel mundial. En el caso del tabaco, nos distinguen variedades que son las mejores del mundo y son muy apetecidas por los turistas internacionales y los productores de todo el planeta. En la Casa del Habano pude apreciar la calidad de los habanos que se producen en Cuba. En la exhibición y venta pude ver marcas exclusivas como Trinidad, Habano, Romeo y Julieta, Partagás, Hoyo de Monterrey. También pude conocer cuáles son las principales regiones en las que se produce el tabaco, donde van nuestras producciones y nuestros principales socios comerciales. Otra de las cosas que me llamó la atención fue el número de personas que había para comprar habanos. En la propia instalación está un espacio dedicado a promocionar y comercializar rones cubanos, fundamentalmente, de la marca Habana Club.    Algo que nunca había visto y fue lo que más me gustó del lugar fueron los toneles donde se añejan los rones y los que le dan ese sabor especial que tiene el ron cubano. Fue un paseo muy agradable y agradecí haber llegado muy temprano a Varadero, para poder disfrutar de estas dos joyas del destino turístico más importante de los cubanos.
