Hello dear friends of this beautiful Hive Open Mic Community. This Week Number 119 of Prejudices, I bring you an energetic Venezuelan Instrumental Merengue, titled "Brisas del Ávila" by the composer and mandolinist Víctor Duran - 1916 - 1996. El catire Durán, as his friends knew him, was born in Carache, State of Trujillo and on several occasions had the opportunity to play with the accompaniment of maestro Alirio Díaz and Rodrigo Riera, considered among the greatest guitarists in the world. Master Duran was an excellent mandolin player and composer. Here is an acoustic version of this famous merengue of yours. I just hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos de esta hermosa Comunidad Hive Open Mic. Esta Semana Número 119 de Prejuicios, les traigo un enérgico Merengue Instrumental Venezolano, titulado "Brisas del Ávila" del compositor y mandolinista Víctor Durán - 1916 - 1996. El catire Durán, como lo conocían sus amigos, nació en Carache, Estado Trujillo y en varias ocasiones tuvo la oportunidad de tocar con el acompañamiento del maestro Alirio Díaz y Rodrigo Riera, considerados entre los más grandes guitarristas del mundo. El maestro Duran fue un excelente mandolinista y compositor. Aquí les dejo una versión acústica de este famoso merengue suyo. Solo espero que sea del agrado de ustedes.
