Hello everyone, I hope your week is off to a great start. Today I am stopping by to tell you a little bit about my day at the Mayorca shopping center while enjoying the flower fairs here in Medellin. I start by telling you that we left home on an ordinary Sunday and if I'm honest we didn't remember that it was the fairs. For that reason, I didn't know that such a beautiful decoration was waiting for us inside the mall.
Algo que realmente amo de Medellín es que cada vez que se celebra algo decoran todo tan espectacular; eso incluye locales, centros comerciales y restaurantes. Nosotros salimos de casa en busca de algunas cosas que nos hacían falta pero como ya estabamos afuera decidimos quedarnos a almorzar allí mismo en el Mayorca y así disfrutábamos un poco más de la decoración y veíamos las ofertas que habían.
Something I really love about Medellín is that every time they celebrate something they decorate everything so spectacularly; that includes stores, malls and restaurants. We left home in search of some things we needed but since we were already outside we decided to stay for lunch right there at Mayorca so we could enjoy a little more of the decorations and see what was on offer.
Luego de averiguar las cosas y comprarlas, pensábamos que almorzar en crepes & waffles sería una excelente opción para así no llegar a casa a cocinar. Realmente estabamos con poco apetito pero comer aquí siempre será la mejor idea ya que es delicioso y económico. Además, aquí siempre te sirven todo rápido a pesar de que la mayoría del tiempo está full de gente el restaurante.
After figuring things out and buying them, we thought that having lunch at crepes & waffles would be a great option so we wouldn't have to go home and cook. We were really not very hungry but eating here is always the best idea as it is delicious and inexpensive. Besides, they always serve you fast even though most of the time the restaurant is full of people.
Para comer ordené un crepes de sal de ternera con champiñones y José pidió un Roast beef con salsa chiplote. Y como nunca falta el postre decidimos pedir un babydoll para los dos. La verdad es que fue un excelente día con la mejor decoración. En este local gastamos 94.250 pesos colombianos incluyendo el servicio o lo que es aproximadamente unos 23,56 USD.
For lunch I ordered a crepes of salt beef with mushrooms and José ordered a Roast beef with chiplote sauce. And since there is never a lack of dessert we decided to order a babydoll for both of us. The truth is that it was an excellent day with the best decoration. In this place we spent 94,250 Colombian pesos including service or approximately 23.56 USD.
Ya al terminar de comer, nosotros decidimos dar más vueltas dentro del centro comercial porque la verdad estaba full de gente y habían buenas promociones. Este es uno de mis centros comerciales favoritos porque consigues outlets de las tiendas favoritas y si les cuento siempre tienen buenos precios. Había también un parque gigante para los niños y un montón de cosas más.
After lunch, we decided to walk around more inside the mall because it was really crowded and there were good promotions. This is one of my favorite malls because you get outlets of the favorite stores and if I tell you they always have good prices. There was also a giant park for the kids and a lot of other things.
