So this time, since there was still rum left that we used in a recipe, we decided to prepare a quesillo with a touch of grated coconut and raisins. This is one of my favorite desserts, besides that it is quite easy to make, it does not have much science and at home everyone will love it because the touch of raisins and coconut is wonderful

- 5 huevos | 5 eggs
- 1 lata de leche condensada | 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 cucharadita de esencia de vainilla | 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 chorrito de ron | 1 splash of rum
- Coco rallado | grated coconut
- Uvas pasas | raisins
- Leche liquida ( misma cantidad que la leche condensada ) | Liquid milk (same amount as condensed milk)
- 2 cucharadas de azúcar | 2 tablespoons of sugar

Lo primero que hicimos fué poner los huevos en la licuadora uno por uno, esto es para evitar que si alguno sale dañado, no perdamos los otros.

Seguidamente batimos un poco de leche liquida. Debe ser la misma cantidad de la lata de leche condensada.
Then we beat a little liquid milk. It should be the same amount as the can of condensed milk.
Agregamos la lata de leche condensada, una cucharadita de esencia de vainilla, el chorrito de ron y estamos listos para encender la licuadora hasta que se mezclen todos los ingredientes muy bien.
We add the can of condensed milk, a teaspoon of vanilla essence, the splash of rum and we are ready to turn on the blender until all the ingredients are mixed very well
Por otro lado, vamos preparando el caramelo. Solo necesitamos poner en el molde quesillero el azúcar y un toque de agua, vamos revolviendo y dejamos que se dore y se haga el caramelo tratando de esparcirlo por todo el molde.
On the other hand, we are preparing the caramel. We just need to put the sugar and a touch of water in the quesillero mold, stir and let it brown and make the caramel trying to spread it throughout the mold.
Es momento de agregar el coco rallado y las uvas pasas al gusto. Solo movemos con nuestras manos la licuadora para que quede en toda la mezcla y estamos listos para agregar a la olla del caramelo.

Metemos en el horno a baño de María y estará listo cuando al introducir un cuchillo este sale seco. Dejamos enfriar, se saca del molde quesillero y se guarda en la nevera hasta que esté frío. Y así es como podemos disfrutar de esta delicia.
We put it in the oven in a bain-marie and it will be ready when a knife inserted comes out dry. Let cool, remove from the quesillero mold and store in the fridge until cold. And this is how we can enjoy this delicacy.
