Hola, soy Esthefania,venezolana y vivo en Buenos Aires. Tengo 32 años, soy del signo de sagitario y soy mamá de una bebé de 5 meses y 2 semanas.
Estudié psicología en Venezuela, en la universidad Arturo Michelena, estudié hasta el 10mo semestre (último semestre), pero no me gradué,ya que me fui del país. Emigre en el año 2016 con mi pareja a Panamá, y estuvimos ahí durante un año, pero por cuestiones legales y de incomodidad decidimos irnos. Llegué a Buenos Aires el 7 de noviembre del año 2017, y aquí permanecimos hasta el día de hoy, donde hemos hecho vida y amistades, en este país que nos recibió a nosotros y a tantos venezolanos.
Me animé a abrir este espacio para hablar de maternidad, de esos días caóticos, tiernos, difíciles y también graciosos que vivimos las madres, además de esos sentimientos de perdida de sentido y de a veces no saber si perteneces o no a un lugar.
Voy a escribir sobre lo cotidiano, sobre la soledad que a veces se siente, sobre la migración y también sobre esas cosas que todos piensan pero pocos se atreven a decir.
No vengo con recetas perfectas ni soluciones mágicas, solo con ganas de compartir lo real, lo que se siente, lo que pasa, y ojalá también encontrar con quién compartirlo.
Si estás viviendo algo parecido, bienvenida/o. Este espacio es tan tuyo como mío.
Acá dejo unas imagenes de mi autoría, somos mi bebé, mi esposo y yo en nuestra ultima salida, al barrio de San Telmo en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, estuvimos compartiendo una copa de vino y unas papas con chacri y queso de oveja.

Writing so I won’t stay silent: motherhood, migration, and the things no one talks about
Hi! I’m Esthefania, I’m Venezuelan and currently living in Buenos Aires. I’m 32 years old, a Sagittarius, and a mom to a baby girl who’s 5 months and 2 weeks old.
I studied Psychology in Venezuela at Arturo Michelena University. I made it all the way to the 10th (and final) semester, but didn’t graduate because I left the country. In 2016, my partner and I moved to Panama, where we stayed for a year. But due to some legal issues and just not feeling comfortable, we decided to move again. We arrived in Buenos Aires on November 7th, 2017, and we’ve been here ever since — building a life, making friends, and being grateful to this country that welcomed us and so many other Venezuelans.
I decided to open this space to talk about motherhood — those chaotic, sweet, hard, and also funny days we moms go through. I also want to talk about those feelings of losing direction, or not knowing if you truly belong somewhere.
I’ll be writing about everyday life, the loneliness we sometimes feel, about migration, and those thoughts everyone has but few actually say out loud. I’m not here with perfect answers or magical fixes — just the need to share what’s real, what we feel, what we go through… and hopefully connect with others who want to share too.

Here are a few pictures I took — it’s me, my baby, and my husband on our last outing to the San Telmo neighborhood in Buenos Aires. We shared a glass of wine and some fries with chacri and sheep cheese.
