Enjoying the weekend with a walk in nature is very enjoyable. You can enjoy the cool air, the greenery at the top and also the wide view. Gondosuli, a vacation destination this time when I was in Solo, Central Java. The trip from Solo to Gondosuli took about 2.5 hours. I went there with our supervisors Ms. Puput and Miss Tika, as well as Mr. Arif, my colleague from Lampung.

We had deliberately decided to leave early, so as not to get stuck in traffic. Solo people love to enjoy their time off with culinary and sightseeing, after Monday-Friday they are busy with their activities. Solo itself is a beautiful city and very easy to access public facilities. The building of public facilities is also adequate like in developed countries such as Taiwan.

After traveling for 2.5 hours we arrived in Gondosuli. We took a break at a shelter owned by the director's mother. There we were served lunch with a variety of delicious national menus with Javanese flavors like mama's cooking. However, when we first got there, I got carsick and I was drunk because the road to Gondosuli was very winding, so it made my stomach feel like it was being stirred.

After the atmosphere and my stomach were conducive again, my group and I began to explore the Gondosuli Plantation. Farmers growing vegetables in the mountains is a daily routine. They are used to walking uphill, so their breathing remains regular. They are not panting like my friends and I who are not used to walking uphill, which makes our breath catch. Even a middle-aged mother with a baby can walk leisurely with regular breathing.
Visiting Gondosuli was the first time I had enjoyed the summit air during my stay in Indonesia. That's why when I passed the winding road, my stomach felt sick and wanted to vomit. Because it had been a long time since I had been on the summit road, the last time I had been to the summit was with a patient I was looking after in Taiwan. We went to the summit to visit a temple to pray. It turns out that the peaks in Central Java are no less beautiful than the peaks in Taiwan. Because Indonesia is a big country with extraordinary beauty.

Amazed with a mountainous and beautiful atmosphere at the summit. However, people who live around the peak if to go to the market or buy goods are also not easy. Because they have to travel a fairly long distance and difficult access. Because shops are not found in mountainous areas. However, their lives are very peaceful because they are far from the city crowd that is contaminated with glamorous styles.

After enjoying the atmosphere of the mountains, the four of us descended to return to the shelter house of the director's mother. Because there are still tourist destinations that we will go to. I will tell you about this in the next post.
