Pues esta canción ya ha sido cantada con frecuencia en este concurso, pero resulta que yo sentí el anhelo de cantarla desde la ronda temática de los años 30, pero una situación familiar que requería de mi presencia y colaboración me lo impidió. Fueron días en los que no pude tomar el tiempo de grabar y el ánimo que me envolvía en ese momento tampoco me lo permitió. Pero todo ha mejorado y no pude dejar de grabar este tema, que me gusta mucho. Sé que es un gran clásico y hacerle justicia no es tarea fácil, sin embargo, cuando haces las cosas con amor, puedes sentirte feliz.
Hace poco conversaba con una amiga que está pasando por una situación emocional muy fuerte, a ella le gusta cantar, pero ha dejado de hacerlo. Yo le comenté que en los momentos más difíciles de mi vida, es cuando el canto viene a ser mi salvación. Es mi forma de drenar y de renovarme, ojalá que ella también pueda conseguir refugio en el canto y sanarse a través de él.
