When I heard the word inspiration I do not think of any celebrities at all, I see people around me who inspires me a lot, I have people whom I call my backbone, they are the ones I called once and answers me twice, I see them as my support system because they never get tired of me, inspiration is not finding people who are influential, the people around me stand out and these two people stand out clearly.
The first person that inspires me is my mother, she has always been my strong pillar and the strongest woman I know, I remember when growing up, I saw how agile she was, she carries many responsibilities without complaining, she is someone who would sacrifice her own comfort just for us to be okay. She inspires me because she shows me that no matter how hard life becomes, giving up is never an option.
There was a time I felt discouraged and wanted to give up on a business I ventured into but thinking of how my mother survived many obstacles and still looks good gear me up and inspired me to face my fear and conquer that alone has shaped the way I live and I learned from her that patience, hard work, and love are not just words, they are a way of life.
Then there is my friend, meeting her was never a mistake at all, we clicked the first day we met and things changed for me drastically, I always admire her strength and her ability to take up responsibilities, I call her my backbone because she is someone who always inspires me to try new things, she always encourage me to upgrade my skills and never envious of my achievement
One of the things that draw me close to her was her strength, I call her jack of all trade because she's always ready to learn new things, when she was in school she learned how to bake, fashion designing, make-up and also catering, this is what I emulated about her strength and the way she put in her all, I do not think there is any skill that she can not learn if she put her mind in it, She inspires me because she is never afraid to take up challenges, and she never sits still waiting for opportunities to come. She goes out to create them.
Having someone who inspires you is a good thing and it is not something we should take for granted, I love the two people I look up to which is my mother and my friend, they are my source of inspiration, they hold me whenever I feel down, when I said I get my inspiration from these two people doesn't mean they must be popular or influential in the society, they are the once who bring out the best in me, they are the ones who stands by me and pushes me to be better. They inspire me every day, not just by words, but by how they live their lives because of them, I believe more in myself.
