Además luego de la sesión de fotos ya teníamos mucha hambre y estabamos un poco cansados para llegar a casa a cocinar, y añadido a eso, todavía no había tenido la oportunidad de probar el Zapiekanka que es tan famoso en Polonia, que como ven se trata de un delicioso pan baguette horneado o bueno la mitad de un pan baguette horneado y cubierto con algunos ingredientes de tu elección como queso, champiñones, jamón, salsa, entre otros.
Besides after the photo shoot we were already very hungry and we were a little tired to get home to cook, and added to that, I had not yet had the opportunity to try the Zapiekanka that is so famous in Poland, which as you see is a delicious baked baguette bread or well half a baguette bread baked and covered with some ingredients of your choice such as cheese, mushrooms, ham, sauce, among others.
Este restaurante no es muy grande, pero aún así tiene una pequeña barra y creo que tres mesas con un grande mueble para los clientes, la decoración me pareció muy bonita y sencilla, llena de plantas, además de todo muy limpio y ordenado, la atención también fue rápida y buena, y la comida realmente estaba deliciosa, aunque debo confesar que no esperaba mucho de este pan pero dejenme decirles que me sorprendió y quiero volver a comer aquí pronto, nosotros elegimos el zapiekanka con queso, jamón y champiñones pero ellos tienen varias opciones de zapiekanka en su menú, y además también ofrecen otros platos como sopas.
This restaurant is not very big, but still has a small bar and I think three tables with a large piece of furniture for customers, the decoration seemed to me very nice and simple, full of plants, plus everything very clean and tidy, the attention was also fast and good, and the food was really delicious, although I must confess that I did not expect much from this bread but let me tell you that I was surprised and I want to eat here again soon, we chose the zapiekanka with cheese, ham and mushrooms but they have several options of zapiekanka in their menu, and they also offer other dishes such as soups.
Decidimos pedir nuestros zapiekankas para llevar y comer en casa, ah y olvidaba decirles que otra cosa que me gustó mucho es que podías elegir varias salsas para ponerles encima y estas salsas estaban realmente deliciosas, yo solo elegí de ajo pero Pawel eligió otras y me dio a probar y estas estaban muy buenas y con cada bocado que comías sin duda querías más y más. El pan estaba muy blandito y a su vez un poco crocante, y el cebollin por encima le daba otro toque delicioso, así que sin duda les recomiendo esta comida polaca y por supuesto este restaurante.
We decided to order our zapiekankas to take away and eat at home, oh and I forgot to tell you that another thing I really liked is that you could choose several sauces to put on top and these sauces were really delicious, I only chose garlic but Pawel chose others and gave me to try and these were really good and with every bite you ate you certainly wanted more and more. The bread was very soft and at the same time a little crunchy, and the chives on top gave it another delicious touch, so I definitely recommend this Polish food and of course this restaurant.
Cada uno de los zapiekankas costaba 18 zlotys, es decir, un poco más de 4 dólares, pero con el descuento solo pagamos uno solo, y también pagamos 1,5 zlotys más por cada uno por los envases para llevar. Sin duda es un buen precio para lo grandes que estaban y lo realmente deliciosos. Incluso se me hizo agua la boca escribiendo el post jajaja, entonces voy a comer algo. Each of the zapiekankas cost 18 zlotys, or just over $4, but with the discount we only paid for one, and we also paid an extra 1.5 zlotys each for the to-go containers. Definitely a good price for how big they were and how really delicious. My mouth even watered writing the post hahaha, so I'm off to get something to eat then.
