Tutorial for making a Christmas-style baby dress with a triple ruffle skirt

Un saludo mi querida comunidad @needleworkmonday hoy en lunes de aguja les quiero compartir un nuevo proyecto de costura, inspirado en la época navideña usando un tierno estampado de navidad usando esos colores característicos como lo son el rojo y el verde, y justo ese estaré combinando, una tela beige con lindos muñecos haciendo alusión a la festividad con tonos rojos y verdes, asi como tambien un verde olivo muy elegante a juego. Para este proyecto trate de realizarle un diseño con muchos volantes, mas de lo que he hecho anteriormente, se trata de un diseño con volantes o arruches en la parte superior justo en la manga, asi como un volante triple en la falda que le dará esa apariencia muy coqueta y delicada que se busca para una ocasión especial como lo es la navidad. Ahora bien sin más comencemos manos a la obra. >Greetings, my dear @needleworkmonday community! Today, on Needlework Monday, I want to share with you a new sewing project inspired by the Christmas season, using a cute Christmas print with those characteristic colors, red and green. I will be combining a beige fabric with cute dolls alluding to the holiday season in red and green tones, as well as a very elegant olive green to match. For this project, I tried to create a design with lots of ruffles, more than I have done before. It is a design with ruffles or pleats at the top of the sleeves, as well as a triple ruffle on the skirt, which will give it that very flirty and delicate look that is sought after for a special occasion such as Christmas. Now, without further ado, let's get to work.      Lo primero que hare será cortar las piezas sobre la tela escogida, en este caso usare la tela estampada para la parte superior mientras que la unicolor la usare en la parte inferior. Colocare los patrones correspondientes y cortare cada pieza para luego pasar a la maquina de coser y unir, primero los hombros, luego las tiras para arruchar y coser en las mangas, hare un pequeño y sencillo arruche en el borde de la manga, sujeto con alfiler y procedo a coser para tener listo ya esta parte. >The first thing I will do is cut the pieces out of the chosen fabric. In this case, I will use the patterned fabric for the top and the plain fabric for the bottom. I will place the corresponding patterns and cut each piece, then move on to the sewing machine and join them, first the shoulders, then the straps to gather and sew onto the sleeves. I will make a small, simple gather at the edge of the sleeve, pin it in place, and proceed to sew so that this part is ready. --- ---  Ya una vez tenemos la parte superior procedemos a realizar la parte inferior, la falda, para ello voy a medir el ancho de la camisa y cortare el doble de esa medida, luego medire 22 cm de largo aproximadamente, luego 14cm y luego 7cm. Esto seran los volantes para la falda. Una vez cortado le hacemos el arruche en un extremo con costura abierta y por el otro extremo un dobladillo para hacerlo mas pomposo y abultado. Ya una vez cuando tengamos la medida de la cintura procedemos a realizar una costura floja para sujetar todas las piezas y ya teniendo esto cerramos la falda por la parte posterior y la unimos a la camisa que teniamos realizada previamente. Sujetamos con alfiler y cosemos con costura recta y zig zag, dejando el encuentro de las telas en la parte posterior del vestido. Para el cuello vamos a medir el escote de la camisa y a esa medida le restare 3cm, esta medida depende mucho la elasticidad de la tela, pero normalmente esa es la medida que suelo usar. >Once we have the top part, we proceed to make the bottom part, the skirt. To do this, I will measure the width of the shirt and cut twice that measurement, then measure approximately 22 cm in length, then 14 cm, and then 7 cm. These will be the ruffles for the skirt. Once cut, we make a gather at one end with an open seam and a hem at the other end to make it more pompous and bulky. >Once we have the waist measurement, we proceed to make a loose seam to hold all the pieces together. With this done, we close the skirt at the back and attach it to the shirt we made previously. We pin it in place and sew it with a straight and zigzag stitch, leaving the seam at the back of the dress. >For the collar, we measure the neckline of the shirt and subtract 3 cm from that measurement.
