After any walks, some shreds of memories, consisting of bright moments, settle in our memory. We don't remember the entire chronology in detail, but it can be reconstructed at some key points.
For me, a strong memory code means that after a week, a month, or even six months, this place is remembered as a picture in my head.
I can wash dishes or ride the bus and think about something, and at this time, various associative images pop up in my head.
For example, Kadnikov comes to mind when I think about the fog, about the upcoming night walk.
In some spontaneous moments, I even think about the village of Vysokoe, which I filmed this winter. See how strong memory code of Vysokoye is! And there I was experiencing very vivid sensations.
Some places come back to mind at some point, even a few years later.
I associate the foggy Kadnikov with a similar feeling of walking in Chebsara, which was in September last year.
Some places hang in my head for a few days and then are forgotten, or they may come up again under certain conditions.
And all these sensations are transmitted through the picture, where even the smells are felt.
Once upon a time, I even tried to make an associative map of places that pop up in my memory during certain actions.
Yes, don't be surprised, I'm weird...
For example, when I shave, I get a picture of a certain place. When I peel potatoes, the place in my head is different, and so on...
But I still haven't figured out this strange, possibly useless mechanism.
