Hello, hivers, and welcome to another coffee shop series. As you are all aware, I have recently been obsessed with coffee shop hopping. lol
As I said in my last blog about my Leyte Adventure with my friend Jenny, we went for coffee with one of my close friend Mariel.

This coffee establishment piques my attention because my friend keeps mentioning it for some reason. So when we got to Robinsons and Figaro was crowded, I suggested going to DESCANSO instead. It was about a 5-minute away from where we met to the location. When we arrived, the place appeared to be full as well, but several folks had left and we simply waited for the table to become available.

While waiting, I was struck by the interior design and the artwork on the walls. The space is well-lit and at the ideal temperature. It wasn't freezing cold, but it was exactly the right temperature. Knowing that we were standing and still waiting for the table to be ready, the staff kept us updated and gave us alternatives for where to sit. It is also the best time for us to take photos of the inside and check the menu while we wait.

We were ready to order after everyone had settled in. I chose my favorite Spanish Coffee, my niece picked her favorite Chocolate drink, and Jenny and Mariel ordered the Matcha Latte with a Pizza on the side. It was really a terrific chance for two of my friends to really get to know one another. We loved the pizza, by the way, and it was pleasantly inexpensive, along with their coffee. We stayed 2 hours inside because we liked the nice environment of the establishment and with that, we didn't realize it was late, but before we left, I had the opportunity to ask a question the employees about this coffee shop. Aside from the coffee shop, this location is linked to two other companies and is owned by the same person that owns the Coffee Shop, which is a politician.
They have a really nice rating, and I can promise you that if you are given the opportunity to experience their food and coffee, you will return for more as I do. There are many interesting decorations you may see, as well as antiques and even items you can purchase. The place is just really fantastic and can't wait to visit it again on my next holiday.
