Hi Hivers 👋 here is one of challenges given to us as fine art students in Yabatech Lagos Nigeria.

Here sits a painting of four plastic containers lined up on a table, well at first glance, it feels plain just everyday objects we see around us. But look a little closer, and you’ll find it speaks about something bigger on our world, our habits, and the quiet story of the environment we often overlook.

Each container carries its own tale of how we use and reuse, of waste and awareness. They stand together like silent witnesses to how much we depend on plastic, and how that same convenience slowly shapes the world we live in.

It’s more than just a painting it’s a wakeup call in colors and shadows. Environmental art like this reminds us that beauty isn’t only found in perfection, but in purpose in using creativity to make people pause, reflect, and maybe even change a little.
