Goodday hivers π today I will be sharing one of the challenges given to us in school here at the Yaba college of technology this painting I'll be sharing with you is titled The African drummer and a little story behind this piece for my lovely viewers.
Under the glowing sunset of a small village, Kofi sat by his wooden drum, the djembe his grandfather had carved long ago. Every evening, he played rhythms that spoke of rain, harvest, and hope. His hands moved like fire, and the sound echoed through the trees, calling people together.
One day, when the village felt silent and sad after a long drought, Kofi played again , soft at first, then strong and full of life. Slowly, people came out, dancing, clapping, smiling. By dawn, rain began to fall. From that day on, they called Kofi βthe heart of the village,β for his drum spoke when words could not.
Behind every art piece there is a story behind it either sweet or bitter that depends on the mood of the artist.
Thanks for now remember to give me an upvote and follow bye π
