I noticed from an event I attended, that most of the event concentrated on the VIP's. It was as if they were the expected guest, and the rest of us were escorts.
Well, I get the point that these VIP's often donate to the success of the events and even to some establishment, but it is not fair when you are sidelined. It would be better to have a strict policy on inviting only VIP's. In the end though, there will still be VIP's amongst the VIP's, that's funny but true.
I doubt you would be able to greet the VIP's because of the security guarding them. Just staring can cause you trouble, not to talk of greetings. You can only greet those you know. So, greeting a VIP is a no try for. I would rather avoid the embarrassment and trouble.
