Hello everyone, How are you all doing? I'm back again with one of my lastest art work which is a portrait drawing of an animated old man. You might be wondering why I selected this drawing well it simple, it's because of the expression on his face and the folds and dark eyes. I was browsing through my phone only to find out this image has been there for a couple of months now I didn't realise it was there and how interesting it would be until I started making this drawing. Making drawings with dark tones which I resently find amusing.
The whole drawing started with a sketch of my intended outcome which gave me a layout of what to expect at the end. I added shades next obeying the shading rule dark tone ,middle tone, light tone and highlight also adding a bit of my technique. If you have noticed my shading is quite different from what you have seen i add a bit of scribbling to it. Then i picked out the beard with was interesting and added a bit of shading to being out the depth and on and one i when till i finished up my drawing.
I decided to try out this drawing giving the facts that it has minimal depth i was so anxious to see the final results. Eventually i did and it turn out great but I would let you all be the judge of that so please drop your comments I would love to read them and see where I could improve. Along side I've been working on some paintings I love to take my time to make these, so I would be sharing them with you real soon.
