Hello, Hive community! 🖐
My name is Eduardo Jiménez. I'm 31 years old, Mexican by birth, a doctor by profession, a poet by choice, and a philosopher by divine calling.
Today I begin this journey on Hive not just to share ideas or content, but to document my spiritual evolution, a path that has taken a deep and irreversible turn.
I'm running from the masks of conventional social media, from the algorithm that shapes what we show, and from the digital mirage that feeds egos while silencing truth.
I've taken on a new name for this new cycle:
Fafnir Sowilo
It's a voice born from the depths of my soul, one that walks with me through this journey toward what is truly essential. I'll share the symbolic meaning behind it in the upcoming posts.
In a few weeks, I'll be traveling to Cambodia, guided not by strategic plans but by an inner calling, a quiet voice inviting me to let go of an identity that has kept me confined so I can meet myself beyond the limits of my roots.
But before I leave, I want to honor my beloved Loreto. It's the land that, although it didn't witness my birth, did witness my rebirth. It gave me the chance to turn my medicine into art, my pain into words, and my life into purpose.
Loreto: Where the desert embraces the sea
Loreto is no ordinary place. Located in the state of Baja California Sur in Mexico, it was the first capital of the Californias, founded in 1697 by the Jesuits. From here, the spiritual colonization of the entire peninsula and beyond began.
Today, this corner nestled between the Sierra de la Giganta and the Sea of Cortez is home to just over 20,000 people, yet within its silence lives a story far greater.
Tourism has brought both opportunities and challenges. Loreto has become a popular destination for those in search of connection with untouched nature:
- its islands crowned by dolphins and whales,
- its trails where century-old cacti bloom,
- its quiet town where neighbors still greet each other by name,
- and its slow rhythm, as if time moved to a different cadence here.
I've lived here not just as a doctor but as a witness to a collective rebirth, among patients, sunsets, and ceremonies. Here I founded a bilingual clinic called Health for Loreto, helped facilitate healing ceremonies with Hikuri, the sacred medicine of the Wixárika people, wrote poems, and also let go of what no longer belonged to me.
Why did I come to Hive?
Because Hive offers me what the rest of the digital world denies me:
- freedom
- sovereignty
- decentralization
- genuine sense of community
I'm not here to impress anyone.
I want to share my process, build bridges, inspire through my own vulnerability, and at the same time weave living memories with those who resonate with this path of truth, beauty, and transformation.
My purpose is clear:
To be living proof that it's possible to live from the soul — and to do it without asking for permission.
Soon I'll be sharing writings about my inner journey, poems under the name Fafnir, medical and philosophical reflections, and anything else that flows with honesty in this new beginning.
