Hello friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is fine. I am also fine. Today I was sitting and feeling bored because I had nothing to do. So, when I have nothing to do, I do something from my skills. Today I felt like making a sketch, so I took out my sketchbook and pencils, and searched an image on Google. It was a sketch of a jar that had butterflies and flowers flying around. When I saw that sketch, I couldn’t stop myself from sketching it. Because I like butterflies a lot because they are very good for our environment.

Sign of a Healthy Environment

When butterflies drink nectar from flowers and carry pollen from one flower to another, it helps flowers to make fruits and seeds just like bees. And from butterflies we can also know that if there are fewer butterflies in some place, it means the environment there is not good. And if there are more butterflies, then the environment is good because butterflies can feel small changes in the environment. And the most important thing is that they are a part of the food chain. And one more thing that I like the most about butterflies is that they are very beautiful and make the environment beautiful too.

First, I made the jar. I wanted to give it a 3D look because if I didn’t make it 3D, it wouldn’t look nice. At first, I made it in 2D, then after shading and some modifications, I gave it a 3D look. Then I made the lid of the jar and shaded it nicely too.

Drawing Butterflies and Flowers

Now it was time to make the butterflies and flowers. First, I made the butterflies and flowers inside the jar I only made their rough sketch. Then, I also made the butterflies and flowers outside the jar just a rough sketch too. After that, I shaded and added details to all of them nicely, and my sketch was completed.

But later, I thought that if I colored one or two flowers and butterflies, it would look even better. Or, if I made a background, it could also look nicer.

While making this sketch, all my boredom went away, and my heart felt happy. The peace I get while sketching only those who sketch can understand it. I don’t know how to sketch very well, but I can make a decent sketch without taking any sketching classes.
