Splinterlands is the prime example of NFT-based games. When you are playing web 2 games like freefire or pubg, or it can be anything, then you don't own assets there, but in NFT NFT-based game, whatever you earn is truly yours, and it is tradable and it has real value. Whatever items you have are truly yours in NFT-based games.
This idea is not justified for many because they think this is a buzzword. However, it is crucial for real gamers because it represents the value missing in web 2 games. I know you are playing for entertainment, but it costs time, and you are giving hours and days to play those web 2 games, and in return, you get nothing.
