Hey hivers!! How are you all and I hope you are all having a great journey at Hive.
I'm sorry that I haven't been really active for a few days and haven't been able to participate in every contest. Because three of my cousins are getting married and preparations are being made at home. But I didn't want to make my Sunday boring, so I thought of making my Sunday creative, so I made aloo tikkis (potato cutlets) on the request of one of my cousin.**
The most important ingredient for making this recipe is potato which we have to boil.
Mash the boiled potatoes well and add spices like red chillies, black pepper, salt, cumin and coriander powder. Along with this, finely chop half an onion and chop two or three green chilies and add it inside. I like green pepper very much. It will not be wrong to say that girls love spices.😅
Don't forget to add chili flakes as it adds beauty to any dish.
Mix all these ingredients well in the potato and make a mixture of it.
After that we will give this mixture a good shape. I have given it a round shape, if you want you can give it any shape of your choice.
I honestly don't often believe that I've become a good cook.haha
We have to give the mixture this shape and keep it in the freezer for some time so that it does not break later. And after that we have to make a paste by adding some spices to the gram flour. And then fry these cutlets well in medium to low flame.
Let me tell you a secret, I couldn't find tissue paper, so I used to put clean pages of my diary on a plate and put cutlets on top.hehe😅
Anyways guys, serve it with ketchup, chutney or mayonnaise and whatever you want. The presentation didn't impress me that much but trust me it was very tasty and disappeared within a minute.
