Stories of a Third Culture Kid

Graffiti on my Grandparents roof, circa 2012.

So every year, since I was about ten, my brother and I would take a suitcase full of spray paints and spray up the walls in my grandparents house. They lived in the city of Lucknow in UP, India - a city full of rich culture, history, and filled with Mughal, French and Colonial architecture. We lived in Hong Kong, and had been living there since for as long as we can remember, and both cities we called our home.

In our grandparents house, there wasn't a wall that we hadn't painted, but our favourite spot was always the rooftop - where we played cricket, flew kites and just hung out. The artwork was something for our grandparents to remember us by until the next time we saw them, and something fun to look forward to doing again. Plus ain't no police around to bust us.

I didn't pack any paints this year, but this is a little something from way back when 🙌🏻. Follow me for some inspirational travel photography and stories, some visually insane art, growth hacks, and humor :).
