Hello Family
As a community, we have set out to go further, to explore those great virtues that a Web3 ecosystem like Hive offers us, we are focused that this project can reach new horizons, always looking at the welfare of society, after all, as long as we have happy families and happy relationships between friends and colleagues, we will have a much happier society.
### First Off-Blog Activity.
Just like other communities in Hive we wanted to do our first activity beyond the blog, we think that the content about family and friends is of such an importance that we want many more people to join and be interested in learning more about this content, knowing that in Web 3 we can come together as a community and do beautiful, life changing things that will be remembered through time. That's a focus that we will maintain and that the community itself will be a participant in all of this.
### Giving Smiles Initiative a resounding success:
Something we have decided to do is to involve the community more with events outside the blog, for that reason the authors were encouraged to donate a small part of their rewards obtained within the community, resources that were transformed into a beautiful social work with a lot of impact and that has attracted attention to our beloved blockchain.
#### Place: Casa Hogar Chiquillada
It is a place where children of scarce resources live, with the economic situation of Venezuela is an entity that survives on donations from private companies and the state, so although there are conditions in infrastructure, there are not enough resources to meet the needs of children in this place, is in Barquisimeto city of Venezuela.
### Recreational Activities
We started this social day with recreational activities with the support of @zullyscott and her daughter @anjiart who with @francysfiore were able to carry out various activities and raffles among the children, Zully delighted young and old with her music, the children's faces were painted, and magical moments and lots of energy were experienced in this introduction to the event.
### Colouring Activity
In this segment the children were invited to colour in Christmas drawings, and among some of those, there were drawings alluding to some Hive Dapps, as well as a cheerful bee that represents everyone in this community, the children happily coloured and that moment of energy was transformed into a moment of concentration. For this activity, prints, paint and colours were donated for the children.
In addition, on a sheet of paper, the children painted their hands in a drawing of a Christmas tree, all this artistic activity was in charge of the art graduate @tsunsica.
### Music with @cuatrolarense and Motivation to Children
A Barquisimetano music group that is having a great expansion in the city, were our guests of honour to brighten up even more these moments with the children, who enjoyed this musical segment to the fullest.
There was a moment when the singers of the group told how they began to sing in the street, that if they could achieve it, every child present could achieve their dreams whatever it was, between melodies the tears of the little ones began to run down their cheeks, a magical moment of motivation, hope and above all love, all accompanied by music, a moment which I find it very difficult to describe in this writing.
### Gifts Delivered by Father Christmas
In this activity we had the privilege of donating toys for all the children, from 8 months to 12 years of age, each one classified according to their age and properly identified in their wrapping paper, while Santa mentioned the names of the children they jumped with excitement to hug Father Christmas and receive a gift.
Around 40 children benefited from these gifts and one more who were in another location, but who were in the database of this home. So Santa had a lot of work to do in delivering a mountain of gifts full of love.
For these gifts, we were accompanied by Santa's faithful helpers @zullyscott and @filoriologo, who helped us to choose each gift by age, taking care of the quality and excellence in the gifts that we would give to all the little ones.
### Christmas Dinner
As if that wasn't enough, our community also donated a Christmas dinner, our typical dish in Venezuela, what we know as Hallaca, ham bread and salad, a first class dinner for the children, Hivers present, media and staff within the institution, there was no one who was left without a Christmas dish, something that undoubtedly gladdens the hearts in our culture.
For this sharing of Christmas food the community bought a chocolate cake, however, the children were satisfied after the Christmas dinner, so it was decided that the cake would be enjoyed by the children the next day.
This was our first activity as a community, in which all of you were an important part of making this potentially life-changing moment a reality.

## Results:
### Media Outreach:
The strategy of this kind of events is to spread it through alliances with some regional media, in total this activity was covered by 3 media of the city, to which we always talked about the potential of Web 3 communities and in this specific case of Hive.
The media were delighted that part of this activity could be financed from the participations of different authors in the decentralised social networks of Hive, arousing curiosity and having that feeling of wanting to know more.
### Training for media and communication professionals in Barquisimeto:
Under this aspect and the need to know more about some communicators, the creation of a training aimed at regional communicators and media was raised, due to the fact that the interest of the media has been aroused, seeing the potential of this activity that arises from the creation of content and donations in the Hive blockchain.
### Part of Agenda 2024
An agenda will be planned to attend and train different media and interested foundations, promoting the Hive ecosystem directly to the media, thanks to the fact that they were able to witness this activity.
In addition to training, these meetings with foundations and media will address strategies to further develop social work together, with the possibility of raising funds both inside and outside Hive, taking into account different strategies applicable to this ecosystem with incalculable potential.
As Hive is not a platform dedicated exclusively to fundraising for social work, we will be working with foundations duly registered in Venezuela, which have connections with important companies and institutions that can be included in our blockchain.
### Objectives Accomplished:
In addition to brightening up the Christmas of underprivileged children, our objective is to pave the way for raising awareness of the Hive ecosystem in the media, networking and educating them so that many communicators can be included in our ecosystem in the near future.
The strategy in this activity has been to capture the attention of journalists through social work, in which the Hive brand is exposed and at the same time a work full of love is brought to people who need it, for us it is a win-win and a strategic line to take into account in this coming year 2024.

##### Hola Familia
Como comunidad, nos hemos propuesto a ir más allá, a explorar esas grandes virtudes que nos ofrece un ecosistema Web3 como Hive, estamos enfocados en que este proyecto puede alcanzar nuevos horizontes, mirando siempre el bienestar de la sociedad, después de todo, mientras tengamos familias felices y relaciones felices entre amigos y compañeros, tendremos una sociedad mucho más feliz.
### Primera Actividad Fuera del Blog.
Así como otras comunidades en Hive quisimos hacer nuestra primera actividad más allá del blog, pensamos que el contenido sobre familiares y amigos es de una importancia tal, de que deseamos que muchas más personas se unan y se interesen por conocer más sobre este contenido, sabiendo que en Web 3 podemos unirnos como comunidad y hacer cosas hermosas, que cambien vidas y que sean recordadas a través del tiempo. Ese es un enfoque que mantendremos y que la misma comunidad será partícipe en todo esto.
### Rotundo Éxito de la Iniciativa Regalando Sonrisas:
Algo que hemos decidido es involucrar más a la comunidad con eventos fuera del blog, por ese motivo se le incentivó a los autores a donar una pequeña parte de sus recompensas obtenidas dentro de la comunidad, recursos que se trasformaron en un hermoso trabajo social de mucho impacto y que ha atraído miradas a nuestra querida blockchain.
#### Lugar: Casa Hogar Chiquillada
Es un lugar en donde viven niños de escasos recursos, con la situación económica de Venezuela es una entidad que sobrevive de donaciones de las empresas privadas y del estado, por lo que si bien hay condiciones en infraestructura, no se cuenta con los recursos suficientes para cubrir las necesidades de los niños en este lugar, queda en Barquisimeto ciudad de Venezuela.
### Actividades Recreativas
Esta jornada social la comenzamos con actividades recreacionales junto al apoyo de @zullyscott y su hija @anjiart que con @francysfiore pudieron realizar diversas actividades y rifas entre los niños, Zully deleito a grandes y pequeños con su música, se pintaron las caritas de los niños, y se vivió momentos mágicos y de mucha energía en esta introducción del evento.
### Actividad de Colorear
En este segmento se invitó a los niños a colorear dibujos navideños, y entre algunos de esos, hubo dibujos alusivos a algunas Dapps de Hive, así como una abeja alegre que representa cada uno en esta comunidad, los niños colorearon alegremente y ese momento de energía se transformó en un momento de concentración. Para esta actividad se donaron las impresiones, pintura y colores para los niños.
Además, en una lámina de papel, los niños pintaron sus manos en un dibujo de árbol de navidad, toda esta actividad artística estuvo encargada de la licenciada en arte @tsunsica.
### Música con @cuatrolarense y Motivación a los Niños
Un grupo barquisimetano de música que está teniendo una gran expansión en la ciudad, fueron nuestros invitados de honor para alegrar aún más estos momentos con los niños, los cuales disfrutaron a plenitud este segmento musical.
Hubo un momento en que los cantantes de la agrupación contaron que ellos comenzaron a cantar en la calle, que si ellos podían lograrlo, cada niño presente podía lograr sus sueños cualquiera que fuese, entre melodías las lágrimas de los pequeños comenzaron a correr en sus mejillas, un momento mágico, de motivación, esperanza y sobre todo de amor, todo acompañado de música, un momento en el cual me parece muy difícil el describir en esta escritura.
### Regalos Entregados por Santa Claus
En esta actividad tuvimos el privilegio de donar juguetes para todos los niños, desde los 8 meses hasta los 12 años de edad, cada uno clasificado acorde a su edad y debidamente identificado en su papel de regalo, mientras Santa mencionaba los nombres de los niños ellos saltaban de la emoción a abrazar al Santa Claus y recibir un regalo.
Al rededor de 40 niños fueron beneficiados con estos regalos y otro más que se encontraban en otra sede, pero que se encontraban dentro de la base de datos de esta casa hogar. Por lo que Santa tuvo mucho trabajo en entregar una montaña de regalos llenos de amor.
