If you could have any animal for a pet, what would you choose and why? Would you prefer the male or the female animal of that species?
So this is the question which I would choose to answer.
If I could choose any pet animal, it would be a dog. But seriously I don't want to choose any pet, after the sad incident which happened with my pet.
In my childhood I was very fond of pets, so I asked my mom about it. However, she did not agree, due to my careless behavior towards study. But one day, it was heavy rain and a little dog happened to enter our house. It was only a few days old and was shivering with cold.
I ran into the kitchen and brought a bowl of hot milk for the puppy. He was hungry, so he immediately drank the whole milk. My mom was also sympathetic towards the puppy, so she allowed me to keep it for a few days in our house.
I was excited as somehow my wish was getting fulfilled. But after a few days, my mom asked one of our relatives to get the dog from our house. I was sad to hear this, but couldn't do anything. The man came and took the dog to his house.
But next, the unexpected thing happened, the dog was again at our door. Somehow, he ran from the house of our relative. It happened for three days. After seeing this, my mom allowed me to keep the dog in the house. So it became my pet animal and grew up in our house. I named him Jackie and he became familiar to us.
The dog remained with us for a few years but later got a serious disease. It got many treatments but couldn't survive. My heart broke to lose him and I promise to never keep any pets in our house next time.
