"You would see how it will grow faster and will add to the beauty of our house. I will bring some more plants and will embellish a proper garden." I said this to my mother.

"It is not as easy as it looked! Don't you know the naughty kids in our neighbourhood? And what about the goats, who never miss a chance to sneak into our garden."

I was very fond of gardening, so I planted different plants in our garden. But the problem was that we had an open garden at that time. There was no bar in front of our house, which could have saved my plants. I tried many times to grow different flowers, but every time something happened that broke my heart. For a long time, I avoided planting in my garden. But after seeing my friend's garden and her enthusiastic spirit of growing plants, I again developed the urge to grow plants.

My mom was fully aware of the consequences, so she suggested that I shouldn't waste my time; rather should try to do something else that can benefit me. But I didn't hear her and asked my dad to bring some plants from the nursery. He brought a money plant, which is associated with money, as many people believe that those who own this plant will never run short of money. But for me, it was just a plant. I cared for it day and night.

"Dad! I need a little net, with which I can cover this plant."

"I will bring it tomorrow, don't worry."

My father also loved gardening, so he supported me and provided me with everything I asked. My money plant was growing rapidly, and I was happy to see its growth. After a few days, my father brought some more plants, which I planted along the wall of my house. The soil was good, so I never used any pots and planted them directly in the soil, except for the money plant.

After a few days, I was sleeping in the room. I heard a sudden turmoil that disturbed my sleep. I ran outside and saw some goats that were munching and enjoying my plants. I screamed to see this. My mother was averting them, but they were in great number, so I also joined her. The goats were our neighbours, so I went to them and complained about it.

"It's not our fault, but we're sorry for your loss. But next time we will be careful. "

I returned to see my plant, and they were badly damaged. All the new leaves were chewed by the goats. This broke my heart, but I couldn't do anything.

"I told you before, it will not be worth it. You should change your mind." My mom said this to me.

But I was consistent and didn't hear anything. I again started caring for them, and this time with more protection. It was the spring season, so the new leaves appeared soon on the branches. In a few days, they sprout little flowers. I put the bar around the plants with the help of my father. Although it was not so strong but I was still satisfied.

After a few days, I was out with my Mom for groceries. We returned home after two hours, and the first thing I did was to check my plants. And to my surprise, the leaves of the plants were scattered there, and the flowers were not present. I was shocked to see this and went crazy.

"Who did this to my plants? I screamed.

"This is the act of our neighbour's kids. When I came back from, I saw this running out of it."

"I will not spare them, just give me a second. " I got mad and decided to teach them a lesson.

"Are you crazy? They are little kids."

"They are kids, but their parents are not. They should teach them basic manners."

"Okay! Do what you want, but don't forget your manners. Talk to them politely. "

"Alright, Mom! "

I went to their house and they were sorry about their children's mistake. So I let it go. But all my efforts went to waste as they did this again after some time. So I realized my mother's advice that it would not be easy to grow plants along all these hurdles. So I changed my mind and didn't grow anything again.
