"Daddy! Tomorrow it would be last date to submit the 1st installment to the university. I know we don't have money, so I have decided that I will not take admission there."

"Why are you taking stress? I promised that I'll do something to arrange the money. Just be ready to attend the university tomorrow."

"Alright, Dad! Good night."

Naira was the only child of his father, and sadly, her mother died when she was only 9. After that, her father didn't marry again and raised her well. He was a minor worker in a textile company, and his salary was only enough to cater to their daily needs, but now it was time to pay a huge amount for the university. Azeem was worried, as his only dream was to see his daughter as a graduate. He wanted to see her as a successful person in her life, so she couldn't depend on others for her needs.

In the morning, he went out early on his bike. After breakfast, Naira did some housework and had some rest. After a while, her father came back. He entered the house without his bike. The first thing she asked her dad was about is bike.

"Dad! Where is your bike?"

"Leave it! Get ready, we are going to submit your fee."

"Dad! Are you serious? From where did you get the money?"

Naira asked her father several times, but he didn't enclose anything. They went to the university by taxi and submitted their fee. Naira was excited as her dream was going to come reality. But she again asked her father about the bike, and he told her the truth that he had sold his bike. This was heartbreaking for Naira. She cried, but noticed it could be done.

"Dad! I'll never forget the sacrifice that you made for me! I will do my best to fulfil your dream."

After a few days, Naira went to university. There she met with many girls, but she had a very good bond with Mira in a few days. Naira and Mira became good friends and were used to spending most of their time together.

"Have you prepared the new assignment that Miss Kiran has assigned us?" Mira asked Naira.

"No! I haven't prepared it yet. Don't worry, we still have two days, and I'll complete it tomorrow. She replied.

"Alright!"

The next day was an off day from the university. Naira spent the whole day preparing her assignment, and she completed it before the deadline.

"Tomorrow I'll submit my assignment in the first period." She said in her heart.

But sadly, the next day when she woke up, she had great pain in her stomach. She took medicines, but there was no relief. Her father asked her to take a off from the university, so he could bring her to the doctor.

"Dad! But I have to submit an important assignment today." She said to him.

"You can give this assignment to your friend Mira, so she can submit it."

"I think that would be the right thing."

Her father went to Mira's house to give her the assignment, as she was not far from their house. She happily accepted the assignment and promised to hand it in to the teacher. Mira's own assignment was not ready as she spent all her time on her mobile phone. So when she received the assignment of Naira, she hit on an idea. She became selfish and decided to copy it as soon as possible. She managed to copy half of the assignment, and the other half she completed at the university with the help of a girl.

After the completion, she submitted both assignments to the teacher. While Naira went to the doctor with her father and he prescribed some medicines. Soon she got relief from the pain and was feeling well. The next day, she went to university. After a few periods, the teacher summoned them to the office.

"How would you think that I would accept the same assignments from both of you. Friendship doesn't mean that you forget the rules and regulations. "

Naira was shocked to hear this, so she asked.

"Same assignments? How is that possible?"

"The way you both copied each other. The teacher replied.

Naira was shocked to hear this as she couldn't understand what was happening. Just then, Mira spoke some words that astonished Naira.

"I did my assignment myself, I don't when Naira copied it from me."

"What? Are you in your senses? I sent my assignment to you because I was ill, and you took this as an opportunity to copy my assignment. "

"Why are you lying? I submitted your assignment just because you were afraid of being caught for copying my assignment. "

Mira put the whole blame on Naira and proved herself right. This was unexpected for Naira as she was not expecting this from her.

"This is your last warning. If you ever try to do this again, it wouldn't be good for you." The teacher scolded her.

She was blamed for the things that she didn't do, but she learned the biggest life lesson of her life: to not trust anyone so easily. After that, she didn't keep any relations with Mira.
