Nigeria is my country. I thank God for being a Nigerian despite the fact that there are some hurdles but that do not negate the fact that there are great things to learn from. Nigeria is from west African region of Africa continent loaded with lots of potentials.
One of the outstanding things the world knows about Nigeria lies in the borders of our kind of hospitality being rendered. Nigerians are known for their kind of hospitality we offered. We don't treat visitors casually rather we give them high exalted regard. Places like lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja etc are very good sites of the country that everyone thrives to live. Hospitality comes with site attractions like tourism. Jos one of the state in Nigeria has a good weather that supports most white people. I know of people from England and USA that have lived most of their lives on the plateau because of the mind of weather it carries. Calabar, Bauchi amongst several others have other recreational centers which has gained a global view over the years. Oh Nigeria a beautiful country to be.
It has been established that Nigeria is one of the world's leading producers of petroleum. Aside from the crude oil there are other natural resources embedded in this country that everyone in the world is anxious to come for exploration. Presently there are heavy equipment in my village where natural resources are metamorphosed into other finished products. As far as I am concerned, I would say that if all things being equal Nigeria can even feed the world based on the assessment of its abundance resources. Most times the challenge is in harnessing it. This has really called the attention of the world to what we have.

Nigeria is a blessed nation that has lots of cultural diversity which has gained ascendency even to the world level. There are more than 500 languages which made Nigeria to have an outstanding record and leads high influences in fashion music etc. Presently events like arguing fishing, Calabar carnival amongst others has drawn the world to Nigeria.
Nigeria is also known as a powerful centre for music. There are many musicians that have won world accolades from this nation simply because of their outstanding performance. I could remember afro beats is one of the trending music today which is founded by Nigerians like fela kuti, Wizkid, Davido, Rema etc
In the area of sports, Nigeria is also known in Africa and the entire world. Recently I was perusing through some sporting activities across the world I noticed that Nigerian are scattered across all regions. For instance in football virtually every country has a footballer from Nigeria decent. This impact keeps growing till today.
As I begin to conclude, the other bad things Nigeria is gradually known for is corruption and terrorism. The rate at which incessant killings are happening is quite alarming. I learnt that some of these bad acts are orchestrated by some of our death conscious politicians. Corruption has eaten the fabric of virtually every sector even though there are still good people out there sha. We are optimistic that Nigeria will be a better place for peace and tranquility.
