I'm Juan Pablo. I live in Argentina, a country where cannabis has been legalized for medicinal use.
As a result of the struggle of organizations, mothers, and self-organized users, the laws were changed almost five years ago, allowing patients to grow their own medicine at home.
Social cultivation, self-cultivation, and club cultivation have also been permitted. This opens the way for research to continue discovering new uses for this wonderful sacred plant.
Doctors with specific degrees can grant licenses to patients with various pathologies. In my case, I am authorized to have nine flowering plants and produce my oils to soothe anxiety, insomnia, and stress.
I also share them with other people who ask me because I see they might need them. My goal would be to share them with cancer patients as well. When I had cancer, it was incredibly helpful, improving my mood and appetite, and helping me not suffer during chemotherapy.
I know each case is unique and some people don't respond well. In my specific case, growing cannabis has brought me a better quality of life.
I'm sharing some photos and reflections to encourage you to start a flower garden and learn directly from observing nature and its cycles.

# 🍀 My 4 Tips to Improve Outdoor Cannabis Growing
### 🪱 Add vermicompost (humus) to the soil.
This worm castings are the best in terms of organic nutrition for the high demands these plants have. In my case, I started with teaspoons of humus, but in recent years I've been encouraged to add larger percentages (30% or more) and have found it to be excellent.
### ☀️ Find a location with full, direct sunlight.
For at least 6 hours. This way, we guarantee strong plant growth. And don't forget to add some aromatic herbs around them to attract beneficial insects.
### ✂️ Don't be afraid to prune during the vegetative stage.
This encourages the plant to generate new branches and strengthen its main stem. Incredibly, and as counterintuitive as it may seem, pruning increases production. This is how decreasing yields increases yields.
### 👁 Simply observe.
It's not necessary to touch the plants every day or move them. Or do too many things around them, less is more. Just observe our plants carefully and with curiosity; it won't take long for us to slowly understand their message. Identifying which insects land on them or watching their leaves fall to understand what nutrients they lack, or observing silently and learning this new, subtle but never-false language: the color of a plant's leaves.
