God saw that it was not good for Adam to be alone, so He also created a companion , one woman, Eve, from his rib. God’s original plan never supported polygamy , this can be seen from the text above. In 1 Kings 11:3, we learnt that King Solomon went against God’s will by taking many wives and concubines,the direct consequences of this was his downfall. David also faced the same punishment,his child died because of his sin. the freedom to choose between good and evil is what humans have , we must learn not to misuse it. for every disobedience , their is a consequences. so we should live our life in accordance with God’s will, we should also remember that on a cery good day ,we will all give account of our actions before Him.
