Effectiveness Alone Is Not Enough

You know, staying on top of deadlines, answering emails on time, keeping your to-do list neat and tidy. That kind of thing. Well, it definitely feels Good to be organized and consistent, But after sometime, i came to the realization that something was actually missing. Yes , it is true that being effective can keep you busy, but it does not give you that feeling of being alive. If we can have a flashback about the people that we have met or spent some time with, There is always this particular person who always gets things done very fast. They follow every rule and never let things slip, we might say that they are reliable but then their is nothing about them that leaves a lasting impression . The second person will definitely inspire you greatly. So you see , this is the real difference between effectiveness and greatness. The truth is, our world already has enough people who can “get the job done.” What we crave are people who bring meaning, creativity, and heart to what they do. Effectiveness keeps the wheels turning. Greatness makes the ride worth remembering. If we can try to make an impact in the society while truly doing what needs to be done, the world will definitely be a better place. Not only that , you stop seeing it as work , but also as a sense of purpose, this gives you the true meaning of life, making your existence more meaningful
