Greetings Brethren, I’m glad to share my thoughts on this wonderful teaching by Bro. Eli Soriano.
Let us not mistake by thinking of the Bible as just an ordinary book that we can just explain through personal opinion or the tradition of humans. The Bible is actually a book that was inspired by God. We can only have a true understanding of the Word of God when we are humble, and then allow the holy spirit to be our Guide and help.
Bro. Eli reminded us that the Bible has its own interpretation. Understanding it is God-given, not something we can achieve by human wisdom alone. In fact, relying too much on human reasoning can hinder us from grasping the truth in God’s word. The deep things of God are revealed only through His Spirit.
When reading the bible, we are encouraged as Christians not to depend on our understanding in other to understand clearly the word of God. Prayer ,faith ,and reverence is what we should approach it with . These are not just ordinary written words, they are Spiritual Guidance to live our life and to understand them , we need the holy spirit.
So we should not just study the Bible just for Knowledge sake, but also as a means of building deep connection with God.
