Learning to Trust Again After Being Hurt

This is actually one of the hardest things, honestly, the pain isn’t just about what they did , it’s that you believed they’d never do it at all. When trust gets broken, the way you see people changes. Without knowing , you might start questioning every little thing. You feel like one day they will workaway too because you cant stop wondering if they really mean what they say . Without even realizing it, you start putting up walls to protect yourself. Not everyone will hurt you like that. Some people will be loyal, honest, worth giving a chance to. But you only meet them if you’re willing to try trusting again. Healing has to come first. Before you can trust someone else, you’ve got to trust yourself. Trust that you’ll notice the red flags, you will set boundaries,you can walk away if something doesn’t feel right to you. Once you know your own strength, letting someone in doesn’t feel quite as risky. You don’t have to dive in all at once. Start small small. Share a little by little, see how they respond. don't just focus on what they say, also watch what they do. Over time, it becomes clear who’s genuine and who’s not. i also wan't you to rememebr this , being hurt once doesn’t mean you’re broken. It means you cared. That’s not weakness , that’s being human. Trust takes time to build, and rebuilding it takes time too. But it’s worth it. Because while some people will let you down, others will stand by you through anything. When you find them, you’ll know that opening your heart again was the right call.
