It will remain unchanged even though you replay it multiple times in our head. But there is somethings you can actually control and one of those things is the way you choose to leave your life after the past. Holding on to the pain and sadness of yesterday can prevent yiu from experiencing the joy of today. When you let go, it doesn't mean you are weak it just means acceptance of what happened and learning to leave with it. See it this way , you can not rewrite the past, but you can decide how the next chapter of your life can go. One thing that helps is forgiveness, Forgiveness is not about saying what happened was okay. It is about freeing yourself from the hold it has on you. In some cases , you have to forgive others, and then in other cases , forgiving yourself is the important one. ​ Focusing on the present is also very important. the small and little things happening now is something you should not neglect but pay attention to. Laugh with your friends. Practice mindful eating , the taste of your favorite meal should be enjoyed.Take a walk and feel the sun on your face. Although this moment might appear small , but that is eaxtly what life is made of. ​ You are not the same person you were when the past happened. You have learned, you have grown, and you are stronger now. One step away from your past , is one step into you future. Letting go is not easy, but it is possible. Trust me , once you do it , you will feel more lighter , more free , and now more ready to acccept,welcome, and embrace new opportunities. ​
