In the past, there was a hymn we often sang in church that declared:
Prayer is the key, prayer is the key,
Prayer is the master key.
Jesus began with prayer and ended with prayer,
Indeed, prayer is the master key.
The message is very clear, prayer is very important in our life as Christians. We can only walk faithfully with God and live peacefully when we have prayer as our foundation.
Without a life of prayer, we cannot truly succeed in our journey of faith.
Jesus Christ is the perfect example for us. Not only did he begin and end his ministry with prayer, he also taught its importance consistently. He advised his followers to be consistent in prayers and assured them that their prayers will be answered if it is offered with genuine faith.
For Christians, prayer is more than a culture; it is a process in which we stay aligned with God. Through prayer, his power will be manifested inside of us, directing our steps and energizing our spirit.
However, let us be consistent in prayer, lifting our voices for our own lives, for our people, and for our nation.
