Eli explained in this teaching, the meaning goes much deeper. It is not about how we look, but about the spiritual and moral nature that God placed in us. In Genesis 1:26–27, God said, >“Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” This verse does not mean that man got the body or form of God. WE were meant to understand in John 4:23–24 cThat God is a Spirit, and as we all know , spirits have no flesh or bones. one thing we should strive to remember as Christian is that we were created to reflect the purity and goodness of God. This has to do with us taking up the footstep of Christ by following his teachings, and ensuring to live a holy life. Living a life of obedience , a life that honors God.
