Día mundial de la adopción, 9 de noviembre. Ocasión para crear conciencia acerca de los derechos de los infantes sobre los de los adoptantes. Tema álgido con los cambios estructurales sufridos por la sociedad actual y la conformación de la familia tradicional. Entrar en detalles volverá la publicación bien controversial, según la postura de cada cual. El tema es casi infinito y ahora, con la ola creciente de defensores de los derechos de otras especies al nivel de equiparlos a los humanos, entramos en un tema ético amplio, donde mi postura personal me ha llevado a proponer la defensa de los derechos de las lechugas. Llámenme cínico, pero no es cruel comerse vivas las pobres lechugas previamente torturadas con sal y vinagre. ¿Quién dice que los vegetales no sienten? Hablado en serio, primero mis iguales y cercanos, el prójimo que decimos los cristianos, luego a los demás con respeto y bondad. Solo eso diré con relación a la adopción de humanos y animales. Entre los angloparlantes parece que se han dado casos de perros y gatos convertidos en herederos de sus amos. Dudo que se dé el caso entre los hispanoparlantes, aunque es posible que ya esté sucediendo. Sin duda, los reembolsos y recompensas otorgados por Distriator han estimulado notablemente su uso.
