 Caminar más que correr y escribir con constancia son actividades que disfruto a diario, aunque no siempre lo publique. El pasado domingo 21 de septiembre, siendo las 10 de la mañana, y en compañía de mi hija, salí de mi casa rumbo a la línea de meta del maratón. Para esa hora, ya estaban terminando la competencia los corredores más destacados, los que completaron el circuito de 42 kilómetros en aproximadamente 2 horas y 10 minutos. Aún faltaban varias horas para que concluyeran la gran mayoría de participantes.  Si su interés está en conocer los datos precisos, en Internet está la página oficial del Maratón Buenos Aires 2025, con información detallada del evento, donde se inscribieron más de 18.000 corredores y asistió una multitud de público dispuesto a motivar y acompañar a los participantes.  El entusiasmo y ambiente festivo se respiraba en el ambiente, abundaban entre el público asistente numerosas personas con ramos de flores esperando a sus amigos participantes. Como nosotros que esperábamos ver a nuestros amigos a quienes fuimos a apoyar, Zuni y Marcelo, más conocidos como @zutodoterreno y @palabras1, quienes practican otras disciplinas deportivas, pero este año cumplieron el sueño de correr el Maratón.  Mientras esperábamos verlos acercarse a la meta, disfrutamos de algunas escenas emotivas y pintorescas, como un corredor llevando en brazos un bebe recién nacido o este corredor con remolque, del que ignoramos todo. Quizás no era un competidor, sino algún tipo de auxilio a los participantes.  Poco después vimos pasar a muestra amiga @zutodoterreno, a quien pueden identificar por su indumentaria roja, portando los colores e insignias de @hiveargentina y @actifit, pero ignorábamos la ubicación de @palabras1, de quien sabíamos participaba con una lesión y desde el kilómetro 20 acusaba dolor y había bajado el ritmo.  Imposible encontrarse con alguien entre la multitud, y para colmo las llamadas y mensajes telefónicos estaban colapsados, pero @isauris accedió a la página oficial y supimos que ambos amigos habían concluido el recorrido con casi media hora de diferencia, y nos dirigimos a la salida de los corredores, tratando de encontrarnos con ellos. Finalmente, lo logramos gracias a la tecnología, Isauris y Marcelo compartieron ubicación y nos encontramos. Luego de los abrazos y felicitaciones, nos despedimos, pues el frío arreciaba y la indumentaria de la carrera no los protegía, además del cansancio innegable.  Prometiéndonos un pronto encuentro, nos despedimos y los vimos partir en compañía de su amigo del Ciclón de Ezeiza. Nosotros nos pusimos a caminar rumbo a casa, donde nos esperaban para el almuerzo, que disfrutamos con singular apetito, luego de caminar 5 o 6 kilómetros por las avenidas de Buenos Aires que habían sido cerradas al tránsito automotor y ocupaban los asistentes a esta fiesta del deporte. >Las fotos tomadas con celular son mias o de @isauris, quien me cedio algunas. Like us, we were hoping to see our friends we went to support, Zuni and Marcelo, better known as @zutodoterreno and @palabras1, who practice other sports, but this year fulfilled their dream of running the Marathon.  While we waited to see them approaching the finish line, we enjoyed some emotional and picturesque scenes, such as a runner carrying a newborn baby or this runner with a trailer, about whom we knew nothing. Perhaps he wasn't a competitor, but some kind of aid to the participants.  Shortly after, we saw our friend @zutodoterreno pass by, who you can identify by her red outfit, wearing the colors and insignia of @hiveargentina and @actifit. However, we didn't know where @palabras1 was, who we knew was participating with an injury and had been experiencing pain and slowed down since kilometer 20.  It was impossible to find anyone in the crowd, and to top it all off, phone calls and texts were jammed, but @isauris accessed the official website and learned that both friends had finished the race almost half an hour apart. We headed to the race start, trying to meet them. Finally, thanks to technology, Isauris and Marcelo shared a location, and we met up. After hugs and congratulations, we said our goodbyes, as the cold was getting worse and their race gear wasn't protecting them, in addition to the undeniable fatigue.  Promising to meet again soon, we said our goodbyes and watched them leave in the company of their friend from Ciclón de Ezeiza. We started walking home, where they were waiting for us for lunch, which we enjoyed with singular appetite, after walking 5 or 6 kilometers along the avenues of Buenos Aires, which had been closed to traffic and were occupied by attendees of this sports festival. >The photos taken with a cell phone are mine or those of @isauris, who lent me some.
