There were a dozen butterflys on the flowers, but they scattered, when I approached. Caught two mid-flight in this snapshot
Harvest
Harvest season is coming to an end this year. I harvested plenty, but was too busy to document it all in pictures. Pretty much everything did well this year, thanks to the rain. Kilos of beans, raddishes, beets...
German Hauszwetschge - I don't know how special this plum is, but it could be local thing...
Plums
Surprisingly, the plum trees performed well this year. Usually, they have a disease and the fruit is all bad. This year, the branches almost snapped off the tree, because they were loaded.
I don't really like the plums, but I got someone, who wants them.
Nothing too unusual - had plenty of deformed potatos, but had to take a snapshot of this one.
Potato
Still harvesting potatos. I don't think I ever harvested this many. Had to throw a lot of them out, due to rot, but the yield is still impressive.
The End
No real conclusion to this post... Just felt like sharing the pictures, a few words, some impressions from today...
