As someone used to drawing in black and white with graphite and charcoal, it was great diving back into it with this piece. It's fascinating to see how the process has changed so much with my move to digital art. A piece that would have taken weeks to finish with paper and pencil took two days from start to finish digitally, the details I would normally agonize over cos I wouldn't know how to approach them have now become super easy to render on a digital canvas. The extra details I wanted to add but was unwilling to risk losing weeks' worth of work for are now things I can do, cos a mistake can be undone with a tap without losing the quality of the piece.
