Me encanta escribir sobre HIVE y jamás he necesitado que nos convoquen para ello ¿La razón? Soy un ex-empresario venezolano que puede dar fe, sobre aquello que una vez pensé era una estafa, solo para darme cuenta después que nos encontramos parados sobre una mina de oro. Luego de estudiar a fondo la token-economía de HIVE, nos dimos cuenta de que era un proyecto sostenible en el tiempo y no una de esas monedas "memecoin" o "shitcoin" que abundan en el crypto-mercado. Y más aún, a partir del [hardfork](https://decrypt.co/38050/steem-steemit-tron-justin-sun-cryptocurrency-war) originario de HIVE, comprendimos y confirmamos que había estado construyendo sobre algo que va más allá de una moneda: vimos el bosque y no el árbol. Truth be told, I love writing about HIVE and have never needed to be summoned to do so The reason? I am a former Venezuelan entrepreneur who can attest to what I once thought was a scam, only to realize later that we were standing on a gold mine. After studying HIVE's token-economy in depth, we realized that it was a sustainable project over time and not one of those “memecoin” or “shitcoin” coins that abound in the crypto-market. And furthermore, from the [hardfork](https://decrypt.co/38050/steem-steemit-tron-justin-sun-cryptocurrency-war) originating from HIVE, we understood and confirmed that it had been building on something that goes beyond a coin: we saw the forest and not the tree. ## **La Comunidad**
Tenía mis reservas cuando me sumé hace casi siete años a nuestra cofradía. Estas se manifestaban en la muy variadas posiciones y maneras de ver a HIVE. Con el tiempo comprendí que la forma de ver un proyecto es distinta para quien ha sido empresario. Esa experiencia de 35 años me acompañó a ver más allá de la vista limitada de quienes no habían pasado con éxito por la construcción de emprendimientos grandes. Así las cosas, comencé a ver a nuestros miembros de otra manera y las cosas comenzaron a mejorar notablemente. De pronto me dí cuenta que la comunidad no había cambiado en nada, fui yo quien cambió y en ello tiene mucha responsabilidad nuestra cofradía en pleno. Y cuando llegó la hora de "nuestra graduación", al enfrentar las pretensiones de Justin Sun de centralizar la cadena, quienes compramos futuro al escoger HIVE por encima de la vieja blockchain, pudimos demostrar que una comunidad "no puede ser comprada". Y ello es lo que demuestra el concepto más claro: puede usted pensar diferente, pero la unión tras un objetivo común, puede obrar milagros.

## **The Community**
I had my reservations when I joined our brotherhood almost seven years ago. These were manifested in the very varied positions and ways of looking at HIVE. With time I understood that the way of seeing a project is different for those who have been entrepreneurs. That experience of 35 years helped me to see beyond the limited view of those who had not successfully gone through the construction of large enterprises. Thus, I began to see our members in a different way and things began to improve significantly. Suddenly I realized that the community had not changed at all, it was I who changed, and for that our entire confraternity bears a lot of responsibility. And when the time came for “our graduation”, when faced with Justin Sun's pretensions to centralize the chain, those of us who bought the future by choosing HIVE over the old chain, were able to demonstrate that a community “cannot be bought”. And that is what demonstrates the clearest concept: you may think differently, but uniting behind a common goal can work miracles.

## **La Realización**
Algo que hemos contado hasta la saciedad, es nuestro pasado como empresario. Cuando era menor de edad y en mi adolescencia, siempre quise dedicarme a escribir. Esa preferencia por mi futuro, estuvo cimentada en el increíble hábito de la lectura, semilla generadora y creadora de inquietudes en el pensamiento que sólo puedes compartir mediante la palabra. Así las cosas, nuestro progenitor siempre aconsejó dedicar mi tiempo a otra profesión y aquel sueño se vió truncado porque "el escribir no te va dar de comer". 35 años después, en 2018 conocí la vieja cadena de la que se separó HIVE y el resto es historia. Nuestro hijo @stow01 nos habló de "un sitio web donde te recompensan por compartir escritos" y mi tiempo lo desperdiciaba en redes sociales tradicionales. Por lo que me dije "¿Por qué no probar?". HIVE ha representado para este redactor un lugar donde nos hemos convertido en aquello que siempre soñamos en nuestra niñez. Y ¿qué mejor lugar que aquel donde ganas dinero por hacer lo que te gusta? No puedo más que agradecer estar acá y poder resolver parte de mi presupuesto de ingresos con nuestro hobby.

## **The Fulfilment**
Something we have told ad nauseam is our past as an entrepreneur. When I was a minor and in my adolescence, I always wanted to dedicate myself to writing. That preference for my future was based on the incredible habit of reading, a seed that generates and creates concerns in thought that can only be shared through words. However, our father always advised me to dedicate my time to another profession and that dream was cut short because “writing will not feed you”. 35 years later, in 2018 I met the old chain from which HIVE was separated and the rest is history. Our son @stow01 told us about “a website where you get rewarded for sharing writing” and my tempo was wasted on traditional social networks. So I said to myself, “Why not give it a try? HIVE has represented for this editor a place where we have become what we always dreamed of in our childhood. And what better place than a place where you earn money for doing what you love? I can only be grateful to be here and to be able to solve part of my income budget with our hobby.

## **La Construcción**
Construir es algo inherente al emprendedor. En el proceso experimenta, contribuye, inventa, expresa opiniones, dibuja sueños, corrije errores, en fín, una serie de sub-procesos desde los cuales puede sentirse orgulloso con el pasar de los años. HIVE ha significado la segunda construcción de la que he sido parte, fuera de nuestro camino fundando empresas. Para ser constructor tienes decididamente que ser un soñador. A alguien de HIVE le dije una vez que soñaba con "navegar por el mediterráneo con los frutos obtenidos de construir acá" Por supuesto, esa persona sonrió por mi aparente exceso de ingenuidad. Pero lo que no sabe es que un constructor jamás se comporta como el grueso de la gente. Un constructor sueña, es verdad, pero dirige sus esfuerzos a generar riqueza desde la firme convicción de estar sumando esfuerzos para obtener resultados. Y eso es lo que hemos estado haciendo, sin prisa pero sin pausa. Aquellos que sueñan con resultados rápidos pueden perder de vista que los sueños se construyen a partir de la persistencia. Y Hive es eso: 98% de sudor y 2% de inspiración. Quien lo dude no está ayudando a construir.

## **The Building**
Building is something inherent to the entrepreneur. In the process he/she experiments, contributes, invents, expresses opinions, draws dreams, corrects mistakes, in short, a series of sub-processes from which he/she can feel proud over the years. HIVE has been the second construction I have been part of, outside of our path founding companies. To be a builder you definitely have to be a dreamer. I once told someone at HIVE that I dreamed of “sailing the Mediterranean with the fruits of building here” Of course, that person smiled at my apparent excess of naivety. But what he doesn't know is that a builder never behaves like most people. A builder dreams, it is true, but he directs his efforts to generate wealth from the firm conviction that he is adding efforts to obtain results. And that is what we have been doing, slowly but surely. Those who dream of quick results may lose sight of the fact that dreams are built on persistence. And Hive is just that: 98% sweat and 2% inspiration. Anyone who doubts this is not helping to build.
