Un veterano de doce campañas en las mayores, transcurridas mayormente entre Miami y Los Ángeles, Miguel se ha ganado el respeto de sus compañeros de equipo, donde sea que se haya encontrado jugando. Si no lo creen, sólo hay que referir el premio Roy Campanella, el cual se otorga al jugador quien mejor representa el "espíritu y liderazgo" del legendario receptor Dodger, según una votación de sus compañeros de equipo y el cuerpo técnico. Dicho esto, imaginen a ustedes los pensamientos mezclados en la cabeza de Rojas cuando comenzó a rodear el diamante con trote triunfante, para culminar la trayectoria de recorrido luego del pepinazo.
