You might think we went full send into a hedonistic weekend, and that my recent posts paint me as someone who’s ghosted real life—the kind where you grind just to stay afloat. But nah, that’s not the vibe. In this era of AI and smoke screens, what you see online might be facts… or just fiction. Still, we’ve built our name on keeping it real, and our pics? They come with metadata receipts. That’s why our rep holds weight. Maybe this sounds like a warm-up before the main story, but here’s the truth: we never imagined we’d catch the kind of shots you’re seeing here, all thanks to @stow01’s wild idea to throw a house party. We keep it low-key, but the space turned into a whole mood—each corner vibing with stories that led up to the celebration you’re reading about now. Before Saturday night, we thought about dipping to Bahía de Cata, but I left my phone at home (maybe my subconscious knew we needed a real break from the scroll). So here it is—the story of the party:

A few weeks back, @stow01 dipped to Rubio, up in Táchira state, to link up with a homie who—no cap—is a legit music producer. Our kid’s got that musical itch too, just like yours truly, and while clowning around with his boy, they decided to cook up a track: hip hop vibes laced with rap and reggaeton. The lyrics? Straight jokes and playful bars. But the producer went off—layering samples, flipping beats, and adding sauce until the raw cut started sounding like it had real legs. They promised to keep building on it, and soon enough, they were trading verses, hooks, and rhythms with folks from his circle and even some overseas, all through voice notes and message threads. What started as a joke track turned into something way more digestible, and they hit that point where a video just made sense. We grabbed footage from our road trips across Venezuela, but since the sound is pure urban heat, they decided to splice in scenes from a house party to match the energy.

When we got back from Cata on Saturday night, the vibe was locked in—thanks to a few tweaks around the house that set the stage just right. A little service swap brought DJ Arcia into the mix, and he took over the decks like a pro. Another one of @stow01’s boys—who asked to stay anonymous and kept out of the frame—came through with the lights and sound gear. The party rolled out in two acts: the warm-up and the actual video shoot (you’ll catch some of those scenes in the clip attached). The drinks were flowing, with Fernet Branca and Coke leading the charge. Ron Pampero Aniversario and anise with soda and lime rounded out the lineup. Since it was all about that urban video energy, the drip had to be on point. They handed me a pair of white socks with a smiling sun, kicks, shorts, and a black hoodie, plus black shades to seal the look. The speaker was punching way above its weight class, the dancing was wild, and the smiles took over the whole space.

Gotta say it—the good vibes were floating all night long. Sure, we expected more heads to show up, but the smaller crowd gave it that exclusive feel that carried the whole evening. The lights were dialed in, set up just right in the cleared-out living-dining space, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere and visuals that hit the moment perfectly. The flow went way beyond what we imagined, and in like fifteen minutes, I was fully locked into the scene. We danced. A lot. It had been a years since I had that much fun. @aventurerasbike was wiped out from the beach and didn’t join us. The drinks kept pouring all night—then, right around sunrise, a few more guests rolled in, stayed for about an hour. The DJ had another gig at 1 AM and dipped out. After that, the energy shifted and started to fade. Worn out from the beach and the party grind, we crashed around 2:30 in the morning. The crew stayed up another hour, or so they told me yesterday. Would I do it again? Under the same kind of setup? No doubt.
