As announced a few weeks ago, the third cycle of rewards for PWR LP's just started.
There's ~10K HIVE ready to grab for LP's which distribution will start shortly (~1h approx).
Although the nominal APR got reduced (+20% down to a base of ~10%), over the long term is a much more conservative and healthy approach for the project. Think that from now on rewards are non-tied to PWR, which creates a few interesting mechanics:
- If HIVE moons, APR for holding PWR moons.
- If PWR goes down and HIVE stays flat, APR goes up.
- If PWR goes up, APR goes down.
Also remember there's a bonus for staying in the pool for an extended time. For every day you hold your position you'll receive a 1% increase on your APR. This increase will accumulate for 90 days (for a 90% increase in APR Vs base APR).
This means that as people goes in/out, long-term holders will receive almost as double APR Vs quick exiters. Which should only increase stability. Most PWR holders are there for the long term anyway.
Ultimately adds a baseline to the price of PWR, and HIVE rewards are always valued for everyone. As far as I know I believe PWR it's the only project paying it's LP's with Hive only.
